Magical Night at the Magic Kingdom!

It was then time for DH to finally get to go on "Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin!" :hyper: The Boys were super excited too because I told them they got to shoot a space gun! These Boys sure do love destruction! :lmao:

DH got an AWESOME score! I can't believe how good he is! He's off the charts and there I am with 300 points! :rotfl2:

DH was on a total high after showing off his skill! :woohoo: We decided to then make our way back over to Fantasyland to go on a few of the rides that we had missed earlier in the day. There was no wait on "It's a Small World," so off we went! It's a classic and still a "must-see" every time!

Look...another Fairy Tale Bride!
:bride:

n25002324_31328791_6318.jpg

DH and The Boys then begged me to go on the "Winnie the Pooh" Ride! pooh: It is DH's favorite ride in Fantasyland because of the part where you bounce like Tigger! :tigger: I decided we'd go on the ride because I was determined to get a shot of the picture in Owl's house at the beginning of the ride, where Mr. Toad is handing the deed to the ride to Owl! I found out about it on The DIS and I knew I must find it!

We got on the ride and as soon as you begin the ride, there it was! It popped up right in front of us and I had to reach over DH to get the shot! I GOT IT!

n25002324_31331684_164.jpg

n25002324_31331685_406.jpg

The Boys then decided they wanted to ride on "Dumbo the Flying Elephant!" I hadn't been on it in years! I couldn't wait to get back on Dumbo! Mickey & I got in one Dumbo and DH & Chip 'n Dale got in the Dumbo in front of us.

n25002324_31331682_9652.jpg

It was getting very late and MK was about to close, so we had time to fit one last ride in, if we hurried! We let Mickey choose, which ride he wanted to go on to end our magical day and he chose his favorite...SPACE MOUNTAIN! It is also a favorite of mine, so we walked as fast as we could over to Tomorrowland!

We made it! :woohoo: There wasn't a line either and we lucked out and got in the front! I just love being in the front of the rocket! As I said before, Mickey loves this ride because he has his own personal little spot in the rocket, just for him!

n25002324_31331686_688.jpg

I noticed the bag seemed a lot looser, than the other ones I have put Mickey in, so when we took off I made sure to put my hand near Mickey. Sure enough, he flew out of his little seat when we took a fast drop and I quickly grabbed him mid-air! :scared1: Whew! I then put Mickey in my lap under the bar and he was very happy to be sitting close to me after that experience! I don't know if I'm going to get him back on Space Mountain now because he's scared I'm going to lose him. :sad2:

n25002324_31331687_933.jpg

Mickey was ready to go home after than, so I held him tight as we made our exit down Main Street. I made sure Mickey got to enjoy all of the lights and that took his mind off of his scary Space Mountain advanture!

n25002324_31331689_1421.jpg

We ended our magical day and made our way back to our resort to get some much needed sleep. :cloud9:

We're off to Epcot next!

DROOL! I love your trip report! More! More! It not only gives me my Disney fix but puts me in the holiday spirit as well. That picture of your veggie burger and fries in the last post literally did make me drool. I'm vegetarian too - I'm going to have to get that exact meal on my next trip in either March or October!

I'm SO GLAD you were able to catch Mickey mid-air! WHEW! CLOSE CALL! Love the Toad and Owl picture too!

Glad you're doing okay and I hope you feel better soon!

I'm glad you are doing OK. I've been thinking about you. Your DH and mine are very similar. When the boys and I rode Space Mountain, DH rode Buzz 6 times. He wanted to improve his score :teeth: Thanks for sharing!

That's funny you say that because DH also had 5 wisdom teeth! :rotfl2: He had them pulled out before I ever met him, but he told me he had 5! I had never even heard of that! You two must be extra special! :rotfl:

Thanks so much for thinking of me! :goodvibes

My oldest DS lost his two front teeth and THREE were growning back in :confused3 he had to have the extra on taken out..... but it is a thing in my family my Grandpop...brother and nephew all had extra teeth grow in different places.

I'm glad to hear that you are doing ok. I only have 3 wisdom teeth but one of them still hasn't come all the way through. I fear that I will have to have them taken out at some point.

Poor Mickey, I'm so glad that you managed to catch him. Hopefully he wont remember it after the rest of your amazing holiday.

I am drooling over the Veggie Burger now too! It stinks not being able to eat solid food! I am starving and craving Mexican food, even though it is 8:00 in the morning! :rotfl2:

I didn't realize Cosmic Ray's had so many awesome vegetarian options, but it does! :thumbsup2

I know! It was such a close-call with Mickey! I didn't let him go after that! I don't know what I'd do without him! ;)

Awww...thanks so much! I'm on a very strong pain killer right now, so I am doing good, but what's it wears off...that's another story!

It must be a guy thing! :lmao: So competitive! I even stopped trying by this point and spin the car around to make it a little more difficult for DH! :rotfl:

Yeah, my jaw is SO sore! I can't believe I have to go through this again in about a month! Uggghhhh! I've been putting it off for so long, so I guess I'll FINALLY just have to suck it up. I had such a horrible experience when I got 4 teeth pulled when I was around 13, that's why it took me SO long to finally get my wisdom teeth out. My dentist took extra time with me because she knew how nervous I was about it. She did a great job! :thumbsup2

Yeah, see how many Disney ones you can find! WDW was different looking back then! There are walls coming from the side of the Castle that are a part of the Castle! It's so weird because they are not there any more! I'll see if I can fit it on my scanner to show everyone. Maybe some one can explain to me what happened! :rotfl2:

I know people that have had teeth growing over other teeth! I had a lot of teeth problems and still do. I had teeth pulled, an expander put in, and braces for years! I still have a permanent retainer in my mouth that has been there for almost 9 years! I can't take it out, until my wisdom teeth are removed, so I will finally get to take it out and have no metal in my mouth!! :rotfl2:

Oh, and I love your picture with Mickey in your siggy! Mickey looks too cute in his Santa hat!! :santa:

Yeah, I had 3 wisdom teeth pretty much all the way out and there is just one (in the upper right) that has not come through very far. That's why I have to go to an oral surgeon to get it out. I wish it was out further because I'd much rather the dentist do it. It's A LOT less expensive that way! Oh well, at least I'll be totally knocked out at the oral surgeon. That's the good thing, I guess! :)

Mickey is doing much better! I think he has forgotten about it. I am hoping I can get him to ride Space Mountain again! It was his favorite ride and I would hate to see him not want to go on it any more. :goodvibes

Day 3

Epcot
We found Nemo!

It was Epcot day and I couldn't wait to check out the new "Finding Nemo" ride! :yay: DH & I rolled out of bed around 7:45am and were on the bus on the way to Epcot by 8:30am!

I just love Epcot and have grown to love it more and more the older I have gotten. I remembered the Christmas decorations at Epcot from when my family & I were there in 1998 and they were my favorite! I couldn't wait to see if they had the same lights this time! I was very impressed because the decorations were even better now!

n25002324_31331691_1922.jpg

I was surprised that it wasn't overly crowded this morning. I was expecting it to be a lot worse the weekend after Thanksgiving, but it really wasn't bad at all. The weather was perfect and beautiful, so that always helps!

We decided to go to the new "Seas with Nemo & Friends." DH, Mickey, & I were able to see "Turtle Talk" in June and we loved it, DUDE! :rotfl2: I have always loved "The Living Seas," so I was excited to see the new additions and changes. I love the "new" outside of the building! It is so cute and the pelicans are such a great touch! "MINE! MINE! MINE!"

n25002324_31331693_2441.jpg

We entered the "new" entrance, which automatically puts you in line for the new "Finding Nemo" ride. I was a little confused because I'm pretty sure we entered that way before and I can't for the life of me remember what was there! I was all turned around and a little confused. I know I was just there in June, but I can't remember! The space for the line for the new Nemo ride was ridiculously long! There wasn't anyone there, but it took about 5 minutes to walk that entire line length to board the clamshells! I couldn't imagine anyone waiting in a line that LONG!

n25002324_31331697_3496.jpg

We loved the new "Nemo Ride!" I thought it was fantastic! I was even scared by the part with the scary fish and jumped back in the clamshell! :rotfl2: DH was in awe by the ride too and the part with Nemo & Friends in the real fish tanks is amazing! Peach (the starfish) is hilarious at the end of the ride! We give it two thumbs way, way up! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

n25002324_31331698_3751.jpg

The next stop was "Turtle Talk!" I couldn't wait for Chip 'n Dale to see the show! This is probably one of the longest waits at Epcot, but very worth it! We had to wait about 30 mintues and in that time we had a little boy throw-up in front of us. Poor little guy. I hope he was able to still enjoy his time at WDW!

We really enjoyed the show and there was a new scene this time we saw it! Crush comes out with a bikini top on him and asks the audience "what is it?" Of course, all the children yell out "it's a bathing suit!" Then, Crush asks, "what is it for?" A little boy yelled out, "To cover b**bies!" :rotfl2: The adults in the room were on the floor with laughter and Crush's face was priceless! Then, the children yelled out, "it's for girls!" and Crush got the funniest look on his face! It was awesome Dude! :cool1:

Oh dear...I've been completely MIA because of back to back exams....so sorry to hear about the wisdome teeth woes :guilty: Any kind of dental pain is the worst ! I had all 4 of mine out in the chair, so I know what you mean about really wanting a lot of needles. I'm glad to hear things are looking up now.

I'm REALLY excited for the Nemo ride. I loved the Living Seas when I was little (it was closed in may, and I think we missed it in the whirlwind 3 day trip to WDW when I was 16, so the last time I was on it I was 12!) I LOVE the clams! They're SO cute.

I'm just enjoying your TR so much! popcorn::

Glad To know you are feeling better!
Poor Mickey! I bet he was scared!! :sad2: ...No more space Mountain for him in a while I bet...

Im happy your feeling better! I loved the last two posts!! I think its hilarious what the little boy said in Turtle Talk and i absolutely cannot wait to ride Nemo as it is my FAVORITE movie!

Ohmygosh, the little boy's comment in Turtle Talk.... :rotfl2: :rotfl: :lmao: ! Priceless!!!
I can't wait to ride it in May! There is going to be a Finding Nemo submarine voyage opening up at Disneyland in Spring...so both parks will have Nemo rides!! :cool1:
Great installment!!

I hope all your exams went well!! :thumbsup2 I'm glad you can now get back to The DIS, the real important work in life! :rotfl2: Oh, you will love the new Nemo ride! I head some bad review about it, but I don't know what those people were talking about!! DH & I loved it!

Yeah, I heard about the new ride at Disneyland! I also heard that it is going to be like "The Little Mermaid" ride that never was. I can't wait to get to Disneyland in the next couple of years! So much to do and see!! :teeth:

Connecting with the Characters

Our next stop on the list was to check out the "Character Connection!" I had never been in there before and heard that it was the best place to meet a lot of characters all at once. It was still early in the morning and it was still not too crowded. We were the second group in line at the "Character Connection" and I think the characters were just arriving for the day. We saw Mickey come out and he walked over to the line of people to give us all a wave. All of the characters were in their "Year of a Million Dreams" attire and they looked fabulous!

We also saw Chip 'n Dale near the exit! :woohoo: The Boys were so excited!! :hyper2: Of course, after Chip 'n Dale saw "Big Chip 'n Dale," they had no interest in meeting anyone else! :rotfl2: I told them they had to be polite and wait for Mickey & I because we had some important friends we wanted to see. First up was Mickey and my Little Mickey gets so excited when he gets to meet the "Big Cheese!"

n25002324_31331699_4011.jpg

Next up was Mickey's best Pal, Pluto! DH had to get in on this picture! pluto:
n25002324_31331700_4270.jpg

Awwww...I have a special place in my heart for Goofy!
n25002324_31331701_4522.jpg

Goofy messed my hair up a little bit in this picture...haha!
n25002324_31331702_4798.jpg

Mickey could not wait to go see his girlfriend! He hadn't seen her since October and he missed her very much! (No, Minnie is really not his girlfriend, but we have to indulge him, so go along with it...haha! ) Minnie was very excited to see him too and she loved his adorable outfit! Awww...look how cute they are! :goodvibes Mickey thought she looked very pretty in her dress too! My Little Mickey sure is growing up! :rotfl:

n25002324_31331704_5319.jpg

n25002324_31331705_5572.jpg

It was the BIG moment for Chip 'n Dale again! They never seem to get over meeting "Big Chip 'n Dale!" They were just as excited to see them today as they were the first time they met them! They were ready to jump out of my hands and into the hands of "Big Chip 'n Dale!" :lmao:

n25002324_31331707_6083.jpg

I love my little Dale in this picture! Doesn't he look excited!? :rotfl2:
n25002324_31331784_8111.jpg

"Big Chip 'n Dale" just love the Boys too much because they are always trying to take them away from me! :rotfl2: "Big Dale" is holding on to my Little Dale very tight in this picture! He didn't want to let go! "Big Chip" was also shocked by the resemblance between him and Chip. They do look a lot alike and "Big Chip" loved his Santa outfit! That made Chip very happy! :teeth:

n25002324_31331789_3708.jpg

Chip 'n Dale said they wanted their own picture just with "Big Chip 'n Dale," again! My Boys sure to love the attention and spotlight! I think the Boys look adorable in this picture! ;) I love seeing them so happy! They really did have so many magical experiences on their first trip to WDW and there are even more surprises on the way for The Boys!

n25002324_31331790_395.jpg

LOVE IT! Lil' Xmas Chip and Dale are so cute! Your trip looks SO FUN! I'm dreaming of Disney.

I have a question for you if you don't mind - how did your Disney crocs work out on the trip? Would you recommend them for trudging around the parks all day? My feet get soooooo disgustingly hot in sneakers, but I'm afraid to wear sandals due to blister potential. What's your expert opinion? : )

Hope you're feeling better and got to eat a veggie burger or Mexican food today!!! Sorry you've had so many tooth troubles!

Good morning trippie addicts! You made us this way Fairy Tale Bride :teeth: I loved seeing the little guys with the big guys! Where is the character connection at EPCOT?

Hope today finds you feeling better. The next surgery should be better. We leave for WDW in 9 days!!

Take care,
TK

GREAT PICTURES!!! One question: Character connection is available for everyone?...

Chip N' Dale (Big and small) Look so CUTE!!!!!! And the encounter between Mickey and Minnie always made me...Awwww!

Keep it comming!

I'll tell Chip 'n Dale you said that. ;)
I wore my first pair of Crocs to WDW in June and I did get a blister on the back of one of my heels the first day. I found them to get pretty hot and sweaty in June, but I didn't have any problems with the Disney Crocs in November. No, blisters, no sweat, and very comfortable! :thumbsup2 The pair I wore in June were Caymans, so there is a bit of difference between them and the Disney Crocs.
My teeth or still sore. Probably no yummy food for me today. :sad2: I am hoping tomorrow I can finally get that Mexican food! Yummy! Yummy! I'm craving some "real" food! :teeth:

Yay! I'm so glad I have passed my addiction along to you! :lmao:

Character Connection has been at Epcot for awhile now and I even saw it when we were there in June. When you enter Epcot at the main entrance, walk towards the Big Fountain, then go towards that open breezeway hallway on the right that leads towards The Land. Right at the beginning of the breezeway is the entrance into the Character Connection room. There is a big sign outside with Mickey's glove pointing to the right, which leads right to the doors of Character Connection. There is also a CM outside and some times a character too! Mary Poppins was outside when we arrived! :teeth:

9 days! :woohoo: I bet you are super excited!!

Of course, Character Connection is for everyone!! :thumbsup2 This is not the Disney Visa members Character Meet. Character Connection at Epcot is just like the Judge's Tent over at the MK. It's the place inside at the park, where you can meet all the characters in the A/C! :teeth:
I know! Aren't Mickey & Minnie so cute! He has a big crush on her! ;)
