Wow you sound like a busy bee, sounds like its going to be alot of fun
Cute bag, perfect for walkikng the Strip![]()
Bag - way cute! I want to find a new bag for our trip, but we have no shortage of luggage and bags around here. DH probably would wonder if I lost my marbles buying a new bag for our trip.![]()
Our traveling partners just got home from Vegas last night, so we are hoping to make our ADRs this weekend. Not having those already is killing me!Hopefully arriving on the last day of free dining will mean the resturaunts will be less busy? We'll see. I'll update when we have a plan so we can compare!!
Hey, that is the exact bag I have! I love that print, it's one of my favorite VB patterns.
I love the idea of a Disney change bucket. I don't do it specifically for Disney but right before a trip I'll always go to the bank and trade in some of my change for more souvenir money.![]()
10 Reasons why I love visiting Disney World.
![]()
10. The accessibility of many of the attractions to all people.
Are you a parent with a small child but still want to ride a roller coaster without having to wait in line twice so you both can ride? No problem. Are you in a wheelchair and want to ride TSM? Not a problem? Are you "pooh-sized" and want to participate in almost all there is to offer? Again, not a problem. The list goes on to the services they offer to make WDW a wonderful experience for everyone!
9. It's not a "I've visited it once, that's enough for me." kind of place. (At least to us DISers.)
This will by my 5th trip and DH has been at least 6 times (he's lucky enough to have family in the area so he visited many times as a child). I still haven't seen it all. I've never done TTA, Maelstrom or walked the animal trails at AK-just to name a few. I haven't visited all of the resorts-and I consider that to be part of the experience as well, even if I'm not staying at a particular resort I want to visit. When I have children, it will be an entire new experience & adventure!
8. Staying on property.
I love the way Disney offers options to a variety of budgets and still manage to offer you a "magical" experience no matter where you call home for your stay. Do you want to be immersed in larger than life icons from your favorite Disney movies? Do you want the beauty and relaxation that come with the Southwest? What about waking up to see the sunrise over the savannah? You can in WDW. For me, it's part of what makes going back to WDW feel like a new experience each time.
7. Convienence.
Adventure, relaxation, transportation and dining-all on one place. (Well, transportation if you choose to stay on property.) Where else can you get a massage, ride a roller coaster, and eat at a 4 star restaurant all in one day...AND have a FREE way to get to all of them? (Don't answer if you know somewhere else besides Disney.) It saves DH & I from having arguments b/c we aren't driving and navigating on our vacation.
6. It's okay to be yourself.
That's also a reason why I love the DIS. (When I discovered a place to "talk" with other Disney lovers like me I was ecstatic!) Where else can I wear Minnie ears and shirts with cartoon characters on them and fit in? (Again, don't answer if you know.)
5. The variety of activities offered.
How about spending the day going on a safari and walking the trails? What about taking a tour of Toontown and dining in a castle? Maybe you just want to stroll through countries yet to be discovered by you? You can shop, eat, and ride up high in a huge balloon, too. WDW suits my personality so well, thrill and relaxation while still feeling safe.
4. The way it makes you feel like you are in another world, and does it so well.
The imagineers pay such close attention to detail. (I recommend reading Hidden Magic as it has portions of the book that give you an insight to the detail that went into building WDW to be the way it is and input from some the imagineers responsible.)
3. Wishes.
![]()
Specifically, the beginning of Wishes. I can see the lights "blowing" out and hear the sound of Jiminy Crickets voice just before "Starlight, Starbright..." begins to warm my heart. :sigh:
2. Dining Choices.
Not only are there way more choices than you could ever fit into one trip, they are all unique and not someplace you can eat at back home or while on vacation somewhere else (Well, except for many of the places in DTD.) I love sit down restaurants so like many of you, planning which ones to visit is so much fun! (I don't even want to think about which places I will have to leave out next trip to make room for new ones.)
1. All of the planning that can be involved.
![]()
I know many of you are like me and it seems that planning the trip can be ALMOST just as exciting as going. Where are we going to eat? What time? Which show do we see tonight? When are we going to visit DTD? How much money do we need to bring? The anticipation the comes with planning is almost too much for me to handle-ALMOST. I mean there is the option no to do any planning at all. Oh-the horror!![]()
You're totally right- planning is such a part of the experience! I love to look at the itinerary and see all those days just filled with Disney fun. Especially before the trip starts and you have the whole thing to look forward to!
I love your ten reasons!![]()
So relate to your reasons
Whenever I try and explain to people about why we keep going back I can never quite put my finger on exactly why, for me its just because and that you have to see for yourself and then you will get it![]()
Great list of ten--you hit it on the head.
I'm here to catch up!
Just caught up again!
Your ten reasons are hitting the nail on the head! Perfect!!!![]()
I love the list! And completely agree with all of your reasonsEspecially #9. I have been to Disney sooo many times (I think about 15) but there's still honestly so much I have yet to see and do. I love that you can go to Disney and have new experiences even after so many trips!
