We've Been Certified for Adoption! PD and Prayers please!

My dh and I are so excited - we've been unsuccessful with IVF numerous times, and while we are planning to continue to try, we have also taken it as a sign that we were meant to adopt. So, six months, 10 weeks of classes, mucho homework, 2 house studies, and an interview and we are now certified to adopt! Now all we need to do is find our children. So far, no luck as everyone we have inquired about has been placed - which is bitter sweet b/c we are of course happy for them but sad for ourselves - but we will keep looking! So for the first time, I am asking for PD and prayers as I have seen them work here!

Wow, that's alot of classes! Congrats! I only had to take 10 hours worth of classes. It will happen quicker than you know it and just when you think it will never happen, you'll get a call!

Prayers and for you and your family. Almose exactly 9 months to the day we were approved for adoption and we were at the hospital welcoming DD4 into the world. She will be 5 in September. You will be on a rollercoaster over the next years, but you are not alone. Share your feelings and don't hold them up inside! Good luck!
