Saw lots of folks on another Walking Dead forum complaining, last night, that they gave up watching Westworld to watch the season premier of TWD and they were mad. So I watched it on demand today. I never would have chose to watch that type of genre (futuristic or wild west) on my own but, dang, this show is good. I love the Dolores actress...she is fantastic!!!

I suppose they meant watching the first available slot. They were mad they chose to watch TWD premier at 9pm and DVR, to watch later, the Westworld episode. Just tongue in cheek way to say that TWD premier stunk. But I had never heard of Westworld so when I saw it mentioned a lot on my TWD forum, I decided to go check it out and, boy, it did not disappoint.

Well, there is one theory that suggests he is William the goody two shoes character, only 30 years later after some truly horrific event that has sent him cynical. This would require any scene with William and Logan to be taking place 30 years before all other scenes, but there are some indications that that may be so.

I thought the latest episode disproved that with them both looking for Wyatt and the stuff with Dolores and Bernard. But now the thought is the MiB is Arnold.

Spoiler: These spoiler-y delights have spoiled ends

The episode showed the control room noting Dolores was out of her routine and then cut to a scene of Dolores being hassled by someone trying to take her away, either to her farmhouse or the mesa. But, A) the turn around on that was very quick as compared to the last time we saw them track down a rouge host, B) Dolores has a reason to be in this town in the MIB time period because Bernard has told her to seek the maze, and C) Dolores is clearly glitching. She enters the town, talks to the little girl who holds the key to the entrance to the maze who has drawn the maze symbol in the dirt, and then the next second, girl and drawing have vanished and Dolores is being assaulted (after the Mesa says they are unsure she's NOT supposed to be there because of Ford's changes. . .Hmmm)

On a personal note, may I just say THANK THE MAKER there are people who are talking about this on here. NO ONE in my office is watching this.

I don't know anyone watching either. My brother is usually into these things but he can't get into this show. It just has my mind blown and I keep asking my family what they think about assaulting a robot who thinks it's human (if that is wrong). And they just look at me like I am speaking Gaelic or something. And of 4 I asked, half think it's wrong and half say that a person who would do it is sick but that it's not necessarily wrong since it's just a computer/robot that is programmed to think it's human. I am still just trying to unravel the outer layers of this onion.

Funny bit was when I first saw the show I was like, "I'd never do that! When I play a video game I always play the hero side!" Of course, as one of my favorite Youtubers pointed out that if you play *Fallout 4* (Which I do), you are either one of the most prolific Serial killers in human history, or at best a soldier with a kill count so high, he should be through his 8th case of PTSD. If I was in Westworld, shooting the bad guys who are simply programmed to be "bad" would I be the same as those who carve a bloody swath, simply because they can? Heady stuff.

As much as I loved the 4th episode, the 5th one equally lost me. I'm just not sure how I feel about the show yet. It does keep me watching each week. The 4th episode, I felt, finally gave some much needed answers, and then, for me at least, the 5th one piled on a ton more. The complication I initially applauded this show for lacking is now seeping in!

When the MiB executes Lawrence, he isn't reset til the next morning which is when William, Logan, and Dolores first meet him. Now if you remember from previous episodes, the other hosts are programmed to improvise when another host is not in the narrative which is what happens when Logan, William, and Dolores try to meet El Lazo/Lawrence in Pariah that evening.

Spoiler: These spoiler-y delights have spoiled ends

First off, MIB states he has been coming to the park for 30-ish years, but it is mentioned that the park has been open for *36* years. That gives them 5 years give or take to make the hosts more smooth. MIB also states that the reason that they went to organic bodies from mechanical ones are that the organic ones were cheaper, not because they were jerky. They had 5 years to fix that.

They also mentioned the park is hemorrhaging money and has been since Albert's death, so for the past 30 years? Unless Logan is exaggerating, Westworld can't have been hemorrhaging money for all thirty years. Additionally, Delores is clearly glitching in ways in which she is standing in one place, and then the next "moment" she is standing feet away for no good reason. It could be a dodge, but then it is *CLEARLY* a dodge, put in specifically to mess with people who are trying to logic the story. Quite tricksy.

Also, there are the little moments, Logan talking about William's "cheap *black* suit", becoming a harder character, MIB bragging that he saved the park from Albert 30 years previous, etc. I stay with the evil will theory.

The Wyatt story (the new narrative Ford created) is the reason that Dolores and William meet and is the same story that brings Teddy and MiB together. How can the same new narrative play a role in both of their stories if they are the same person 30 years apart?

I also love this show and agree with you 100%. I feel that we have 2 different timelines going on. What is curious to me however, is that if the William/Dolores story is in the past....and the MiB/Dolores is present...what send Dolores back to her "blue dress" loop?
