Help! I am now becoming so, so confused!
Last night we made a reservation for Westgate Lakes for 10 nights---two bedroom condo---$799 with watermania tickets. We had paid it upfront---how they pressure you into it--- but state that we have 30 days to cancel. I called customer service to confirm that we are definitely at the Lakes--and the man today states that the "reservation specialist" will be able to arrange it for the 10 days we need (due to non-refundable airline tickets)--but they need a day or two to do this. Now, I'm really getting nervous! Next, there have been a lot of postings about high pressure---and I'm even more turned off.
I spoke with a person with the Sheraton Vistana Village--and they gave me a little more expensive (but maybe well worth it) offer. This person could guarantee the 10 nights for sure at the village---for $1024/ 10 days + 2 disney tickets + watermania family pass. However, Sheraton states they charge the 11% tax at check out--but Westgate states they do not charge another sent. Is this legal not to charge tax?
Anyway, I am wondering who is less pressuring with the presentation, which resort is nicer, and what all of you experienced people think?
Please help! Any ideas will be appreciated. I need the space for 7-8 people, and I also would like full refridgerator and washer and dryer.
