I've lost track of the thread, but I thought someone on the inaugural Western cruise said their kids had gone to a Sea Turtle farm at one of the stops (Key West, Cayman or Cozumel). We are going on the June 8th Western and would like to take the kids to see the turtles.

If you've heard of this "farm," please reply. I didn't see anything like that listed in the on shore excursion directory I got from DCL (TA).

Thanks,

DCL is doing an 'Island Tour' which includes the Turtle Farm.

This is a farm, where they raise turtles to release and also eat.

Thanks gottaluvdisney. I've spotted it as a stop on the Cayman Island Tour. We're not tour bus types, so I'll see if we can see it on our own. Thanks

Just checked out turtle farm's web site. Looks like they were severely damaged in Nov. 2001. Lost most of their turtles, although a dozen breeders have come back. Have broken ground on a new facility, but it will be a while before it's complete. This tour may have to wait for our next trip.
