Still a bit new on here and was wondering if anyone could answer about our upcomming trip on August 18th.

Does anyone know what night Pirate night is or what night Captains dinner is?

We wanted to book Palo's but not to clash with either.

Also, online Disney website says there is only seating for parties of 3-4. Only 2 of us want to dine so we have booked for 3 anyway.

Will this be OK? Don't really mind if they have to charge the extra $10 - just want to eat there.

Also, it says no availability for Brunch at all - Is this so, or are only so many released for early internet booking.

4 weeks tomorrow :cool1:

Hi There

Welcome.

There's tons of us traveling with you on that cruise.

You don't need to read the whole thread. Post #2652 has a list of all the activities we've got going on.

We haven't figured out Pirate Night yet, but here's what we do know:

Noticable dates
20th August - Formal night
24th August - Susan Egan
25th August - Semi Formal night
30th August - Semi Formal night

As for Palo's, I can't help there since this is my first cruise. I wasn't able to book anything for Palo's, brunch and tea were all full and I didn't like the dinner options. I'm told that there are usually openings once you get on the ship, so you can ask then. There should be some brunch openings soon. We have a few group brunches planned and I'm told once those are confirmed, then the brunches that people had reservations for will be cancelled since those people will be in the private dinning room. Gee, guess I could offer up more on Palo than I though.

On the Eastbound transatlantic there were availablity for Brunch and high Tea at Palo. Just book it as soon as you get on board.

If I recall, Pirtate night was pretty late in the cruise, like maybe day 8 or 9?...

But if they do everything in reverse then it might be earlier in the cruise. :rolleyes1

Just teasing. They probably changed the whole schedule.

So what's the deal? Are we gonna wait until the Magic gets home to have our party? How about the day it returns. That way maybe some of the disembarking guests can join us?

We could even do a reverse banner with a welcome home magic from Jetty park?

Are you thinking like me? I keep checking airfares and the return sailing prices for a GTY cat 12....
