Now I have to say that may be one of the farthest places I've ever received birthday wishes from!

Right!!

I have today put in request to move our May 09 cruise ressie to the Sept 12th 09 cruise, and also to book the following cruise 19th Sept.

This means we will be visiting the West coast area in May/June next year.

Boy am I excited. Plenty of planning opportunities there, particularly with the west trip. Trouble is I want to do so much in the 4 weeks. DL and SF will be a defo. A trip further north would be lovely too. Also would love to do San diego, but it seems the wrong time to visit here.

Cherie, we might get to Phoenix too. We would like to do the Grand Canyon again.

Will dance again when the cruises are booked.

I'm jealous Why is it the wrong time to visit San Diego?

Carol, I know what you mean about WDW. I was originally planning 21 days at WDW for next May, and was hesitant to give that up as I loved the 3 days we had there this last May. Being at WDW means we can be big kids without our friends and family seeing us!!!

We have our December trip, but the weather can be a little changeable.

Next year's trips are our 40th wedding anniversary celebration. To be honest we are better together on holiday than when John is back at work as he is more stressed. Having your own business has fors and againsts.

I can see how there would be pros and cons to having your own business. Jon is better on vacation and he works for someone else!

I'm not doing anything special. Jon will probably BBQ and I was suppose to go to the DMV but I think I might have gotten out of it

Hey Gaylean, I've been meaning to ask you if you know about the drive in's in your area? We go to 2 of them as much as possible. Kids are free under 11 (I think - it changed this year) first run, double features are $7.

The Department of Motor Vehicles. You have to go there to pay your registration on your car and get your driver's license. It is the third worst place to go in America. The first being jail and the second being the dump!

Thanks for all the well wishes and calls while I was in the hospital! I cant believe I was that sick and they even had a infectious disease doc come and see me because of the cruise. I told them I had just gone nonstop,there was a big weather change and it wasnt an exotic "disney germ"'but since I do post op nursing they wouldnt clear me till he saw me. Im on 2 different antibiotics and I pity the people that were sick because it was sure no fun but feeling alot better now.

Heather, I was so sorry to hear that you were so sick....I can't believe it because we just saw you at Talkin Crush and you were fine. Did it happen right after that or were you already starting to feel bad by then? You seemed ok to me. I'm glad that you're now home and able to recover. I'll be thinking of you!
