There were people who looked at me like I was strange or a stalker when I spoke to them when they had a lanyard and I did too. :confused3

We are home, hit the ground running and are doing fine.

Strangest thing is going places and NOT seeing familiar faces.

Jan :earsgirl:

Jan:

I wish we got to spend more time together. It was great to see you when I did

HEY! Did you guys hear they changed the Character Breakfast back to the old way with this week's Magic cruise? Characters now come around to the tables for autographs and photos again. No more jamm'n in the center of the restaurant.

.

That is a good thing. I complained to our head server about it. I really hated that breakfast.

Monica: Great trip report. Great photos.

At Castaway Cay snorkeling area (in case no one has reported this) The pots with holes are oceanically designed "coral reef starter kits."

They told us about them on the first cruise we took in 1999 and they had one on the counter at the excursion desk. The baby corals floating around in the ocean attach to them and start to grow.

The amount and variety of corals growing on the pots and the number and variety of fish in the C.C. snorkeling area is amazingly more than when we went 9 years ago so we figure they were right.

It looked JUST LIKE THIS, but it was black:

Holly, run that's one big ant :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Add me to the list of Molly fans! Wilson fans, too! My birthday serenade was so sweet!

Thanks, you know they loved the time they spent with you. I'm grateful for you taking the time to share your vacation with my kiddos

Very interesting. Wow, quite the move. That is where our table mates were from and our Travel Agent, Chuck from All Seasons Travel. We really like him and his company if you are looking for a nice family style agency.

Hey, does that mean you won't be here for the mouseadventure? (i.e. less tough competition for us?):lmao:

Did you hear that they are doing it in WDW next year... you'll be able to do it there now too.

We are actually thinking of using some miles to fly back for this fall mouseadventure. And looking forward to the one in WDW next year.

I also heard on one of their podcasts that there will be a mini-mouseadventure at mousefest in WDW this year too! We could end up having been in 4 mouseadventures this year!!

We are making provisional plans and second choices for next year. Keeps me from moping around!!!:rotfl2:

One of our plans is to visit the west coast area for 3 or so weeks. This would be in addition to a few weeks at WDW. Dates are interchangeable at the moment.

You west coast people, would you recommend May, or September into October for your area? If we go to WDW in May, then we go to the west in September, or vice versa.

I would say September for West and May for WDW. This is based on the weather and insects - FL is still super hot in Sept and it is lovebug season too I believe.

forgot to ask....which sunrise was this??? was this in PV?
Puerto Vallarta. There didn't seem many up on top taking pictures, but they were obviously all Disers!!!:rotfl2:

What a sweetie!! Sure glad to have met her and Matt. Their scavenger hunt was fun and we got photos we would never have taken otherwise.

I sure wish there was some way to give her a "fat transplant." I have plenty to spare and it would have helped keep her warm.

Jan :earsgirl:

I'll donate my fat to anyone!:lmao: It is good stubborn stuff.;)

Hello!

Hey you UKers! Anyone know of a little self catering quaint little English/Scottish/Welsh country cottage for rent??? I watched "The Holiday" again and would love to be able to spend some time in a cottage like Rosehill Cottage (but not in the winter!)

I just started researching cottages on line and I actually found 1! Looks cool....but if you know of any others I'd gladly get the info!

That does look cute Monica. I don't know of any though, sorry.

And some familiar faces on Deck 10.

I look fed up and it is still early!!!!:rotfl2: Actually it is better than many candid shots I have taken of me. I usually say I am like the Queen in that my normal face looks a bit miserable until I smile!!! Doesn't always mean I am miserable at all though.:rotfl:

Ocean Quest during one of the open house times.....we had lots of fun with the simulator:

I'm pretty sure I had seafood every night.

And here's everybody's favorite dessert once again. LOL! I didn't think mine looked gray though. I thought it looked lavendar and pretty! Sorry to say, but I loved every single dessert, but then again, I've never met a dessert I didn't like. ;)

P1000721.jpg

I've loved all your photos Holly. Some lovely ones of Tyler.Oh yes, THAT dessert!!!

It looked JUST LIKE THIS, but it was black:

And a happy kid at the bottom:

That bottom picture should be framed. Tyler looks like he was having a blast.

Hi everyone, I'm in Scottsdale with the diapered dog! I had a fun dinner w/Jackie and Peg Friday night and a very laid-back day today. I must say that the heat hasn't been nearly as bad as I feared, but I'm still anxious to get back to the mountains!

I'm really behind, so these are comments from just the last 10 pages or so.

This is beautiful! Did you use a tripod?

Thank you. At most I rested the camera on the railing but I doubt that. Sometimes I just get lucky.

Holly, I agree. Paul and I are friends first, then

Carol, thanks so much. I'm so proud of my kids. I always get so happy when I hear that they are bahaving even when we aren't around. :goodvibes

Most kids behave better when their parents aren't around. What I found so great was how well they behaved when you were around! :lovestruc ::yes::

I look fed up and it is still early!!!!:rotfl2: Actually it is better than many candid shots I have taken of me. I usually say I am like the Queen in that my normal face looks a bit miserable until I smile!!! Doesn't always mean I am miserable at all though.:rotfl:

I think you look involved in your conversation. I think you face is charming all the time. Everyone looks a little better when they smile. Hope you didn't mind me posting it.

Carol

Thanks. I don't mind my photo being posted at all. Back views aren't too good though!!!:rotfl2:

I also remember seeing someone ask if they could copy my pictures, my thoughts on that if I post them they become yours for the taking. I consider it a compliment that you like them enough to want a copy.

Thanks for letting people copy! Your photos are lovely!!

Did you get any inside the hotel that this waterway goes to? We saw a fountain there with crabs walking around in it and I wish we had taken some pictures.

We only went inside enough to use the restroom and have the doorman call us a cab.

Thank you for the compliment on the photos. I don't take many people pictures, mostly places and things and I have really only started doing much of that the last year or so .

I took this one from the other side of the ship while I was waiting for the PV excursion to start
