Looks like quite a few people I don't know in the right hand picture.

She is doing swimming and a few things with girl scouts. We are booked all year with gymnastics, soccer and now she wants to do cheer leading. It's hard because a lot of time Ethan has things going on at the same time I TRY to take the summer off from MOST activities because most of our friends have pools and we love to go to the beach. The problem is that all of our friend's kids didn't get out of school until today. She'll be better now, I hope. One of my friends just called to invite us over to swim so we will go there instead of the lake. I've taken them to the movies and the library for a little program they do. She just wants to swim or go to the beach. I think she is spoiled by the cruise. The other problem I have is that Ethan likes to sleep in and stay around the house so I'm pulled in two directions.

hmmmm, sounds just like my kiddos. Molly always ready to go and Wilson always wants to stay home. It is no wonder they hit it off.

But not all of us can meet up easily it's a pretty big country.

That is true indeed. I guess the West coast folk, particularly the Cali ones, and those closer to WDW have the most options of meeting up.

It all seems closer though from where I am.

Having said all that, we are at WDW in December and again in September 09, and on the west coast in May/June 09, so I really am not complaining.

Nan, how is Paul feeling? Did his ears finally clear up?

When I was a kid I used to get what we called "swimmer's ear" every summer until someone told my mom that we should put alcohol in our ears after every swim. It really worked. Then when I started diving, I started having swimmer's ear again. This time a doctor (who was also a diver) told me to mix up half white vinegar and half alcohol, put it in one of those dropper bottles and put a few drops in each ear after every dive. Since I started doing this I haven't had any trouble with my ears.

I have had a stuffy nose for almost a month now! My cold is long gone, but the congestion won't go away. So I called the Dr. for an appointment today. They can't get me in until the 30th! I took it--because if it's not better by then, I'll REALLY need to see the doctor!

Paul saw his doc again (the 4th time since we've been home) a few days ago and was given a clean ear of health. The fungus looked like it was gone. I hope he is able to use the methods of keeping it clean that he has learned now. It was a long month of him feeling bad and acting crabby.

I'm suprised that my kiddos haven't had swimmers ear with all the tube issues we have had in the past, but I guess that isn't there plight. Good that you found a solution/solution (hahaha)

I had a bone in my hair, more like Pebbles, ya know.

I just want to take a moment to thank everyone for being so wonderful.

Eighteen months ago, all I thought I was doing was booking a cruise. I never thought I'd be making so many new friends.

Well put, Ian! I feel the same way!

Awww! I have the same thoughts, and can't believe so many of us are still here chatting away almost a month after the cruise. I just love everybody here, even the ones I didn't get to talk to much (or at all) onboard.

Thanks Ian for putting into words what I'm feeling. And it seems most of us are. I could never have imagined making so many friends on this cruise, and even more amazing is how many I know will be life long friends. I'm so excited about the upcoming get togethers that are coming up, especially celebrating the "REAL" wedding of Sukie and Ian.

How fantastic was it at the terminal finally meeting everybody. Just seeing people in the distance you had chatted to on here and seen a photo of. Cherie, you were the first, then Bubba and Venetia were just in front of us in the queue. It felt like meeting old friends. Wonderful memories.

I think we met people from the time we got off the plane that we had chatted with. It made it seem like we were already at the reunion stage of our friendships.

I'll be crying in a bit!!!

Yesterday, when I posted, we had just arrived home. All I can say is we were numb. We're not used to things going wrong. Sukie said in the airport waiting to go home, that I normally plan everything with military precision, so he's just not used to stuff not happening.

As I said, we've been together 21 years, so we can wait, though I have to say, we were really starting to get excited.

I have to agree with you, everything happens for a reason.

We'll now just plan on California, after all, a Californian marriage license is not to shabby, is it?

CALIFORNIA here we come......it'll be soooooooo much nicer having CA on the license and to have real friends share in your joy......it's just a couple more months and it's worth the wait.

Hi Jan......thanks! The graduation was good. My legs however are not. Since we're back from vacation and off the steroids again, they are sooooooooo very swollen and leaking and yuck! Gotta just take care of them by using the leg wraps and the edema sleves and getting back into a routine. It's a slow process so it will take some more time. Thanks for asking.

I find it amazing that those bablies weren't even a "glint" in their parent's eye when they booked the cruise!
