Happy Birthday, John! Sounds like you're having fun with all your birthday toys!
Nan, how is Paul feeling? Did his ears finally clear up?
When I was a kid I used to get what we called "swimmer's ear" every summer until someone told my mom that we should put alcohol in our ears after every swim. It really worked. Then when I started diving, I started having swimmer's ear again. This time a doctor (who was also a diver) told me to mix up half white vinegar and half alcohol, put it in one of those dropper bottles and put a few drops in each ear after every dive. Since I started doing this I haven't had any trouble with my ears.
I have had a stuffy nose for almost a month now! My cold is long gone, but the congestion won't go away. So I called the Dr. for an appointment today. They can't get me in until the 30th! I took it--because if it's not better by then, I'll REALLY need to see the doctor!
We didn't use our gift certificate debarkation day...went to Goofy's Kitchen instead. Speaking of which, I think the quality of food there is not what it used to be....at least for breakfast/brunch.

Or it was overpriced for the quality you got. Breakfast at Storytellers is much better....taste-wise.
.
I'm glad to hear you say that. I thought it was just me and the fact that I was in my snit over not being able to find my AP.
We are having DD, DSIL and 2 friends over for dinner on Sat. They want to see our trip photos. DrHug bought a new TV yesterday that has a port to plug his IPod into. He can put the photos on the IPod and show them on the 37 inch TV. I can't wait to see how that works.

Making manicotti. Otherwise, I'm mowing that yard today

, a bit of grocery shopping and some cleaning.
I've read that you can do that. Add me to the list of people who want to hear how it works. Nice about the new TV! I'd love to get one--maybe I can drum up a few more dog-sitting jobs!
Kelly we'd love to have you guys at the ceremony.
Something that is really very nice for us is that we won't have to have paid witnesses.
It's not the money, but it did strike me as a little sad that we were going to pay for witnesses.
On the positive side of things, given that there'll be people to celebrate with us, it gives new meaning to this being the "real" wedding.
Also, thank you for the offer to help. Just seeing you guys either at the wedding or Dl would be wonderful.
Yes, Ian, when I read that you were going to have paid witnesses, it did seem a little sad. Now you'll have to add extra lines to the license for all of us to be able to sign!
That's exactly right. It's even worse is that our computers are on the same table back to back. So at least we do get to peak over our monitors and look at each other every once in awhile.
You could always take a ziplock baggie to put the camera in for the wetter rides.
I did use the camera and that lens on Pirates and even on Splash Mountain
(both pics are from WDW) without a ziploc bag. Remember one of the nice features is it is supposed to be to handle a bit of rain on it - not a good dunking like on GRR, but properly protected it can survive that too.
I forgot about the "water resistant" feature! Your pictures got me excited to try it! I usually have a ziploc for my other camera so I'll just need a bigger one!
Yes, I couldn't believe the Pirate photo was all done and dusted and everybody gone by the time we arrived!!!
The reason for the big rush was that Pirate Mickey had to leave, otherwise we surely could have taken more time.
funny how they now think they "need" to have such a nice standard of entertainment. I seem to remember going outside and playing in the dirt with rocks and sticks and being happy when I was a kid.
Did you have a bone in your nose, too????
