Were you tortured by a sibling as a child?

When it was just my older sister and me we got along well. When our little sister came along, it immediately became a game of two on one. My older sister did tie me to the post of our bunkbeds with a jumprope once. She told me we were going to play cowboys and indians and that the indian had to be burned. Not too funny.
My sisters and I fought constantly when we were younger. We all get along now that we no longer have to reside under the same roof.

I was a sibling torturer to my little brother.

Never anything physical though. I just teased the heck out of him.

I'm the youngest of 4, and the only girl. We're pretty close in age (my oldest bro is only 5 years older) so I got tortured ALOT!! It was a trickle down effect most times - B would take something out on J, J on S and S would take it out on poor little me. Even the dog was older than me so I had no one to torture!! I got the crap beat out of me on many occasions buy those brats. I still have pencil lead from where my brother stabbed me in the ankle in homeroom in 10th grade (we were in the same grade but 13 months apart).

Now I'm pretty close to my oldest brother (that's his baby in my sig) but still a lot of sibling rivalry with my youngest older brother- we fight like cats and dogs sometimes- he thinks I'm a b**** and I think he's a jack***

I would say fro the most part no. My siblings are 10 and 13 years older than me. My sister did try and make me eat a whole onion once. (I was 5 or so) I didn't do it. As you can tell by my tag, I am not an onion fan.

We never got violent in our family; psycological torture, on the other hand....

My older sisters used to always tell me that any candy they had was licorice, since they knew I hated it. I finally smartened up one time though, when they were eating these pretty pastel colored things that I KNEW couldn't be licorice.

Yup, they were Good'n'Plentys!

On a similar vein, my partner and his 2 closest sisters used to give their baby sister colored chalk and tell her it was candy...

I gave my younger sister (10 months) a very hard time growing up. It really never was a problem with us. However, several years ago we drifted apart. I have not spoke to, or seen her in about 4 years.

My brother would beat me up (but then again, I would hit him back :rotfl: )

My three younger brothers tormented the heck out of me. We constantly picked on each other - all day everyday. I still have a piece of pool stick that my oldest brother stabbed me with. Remember 'Touche Turtle? Well my brothers played Touche (insert last name) with broken pool sticks. My arm bled all over and my mom beat us for fighting. Darn thing is still in my arm!

But I have to admit I gave as good as I got. My favorite was the garbage soup I made for my brothers and they ate it! Potato skins, coffee grinds, dish soap! :rotfl2: It still cracks me up when we talk about it but my middle brother gets totally mad and usually leaves the room. :confused3

My 3 torment each other constantly and I can't stand it! Now I know what my mother always complained about!

I never thought of it as torturing, but we did pick on one of my sisters all the time. Made up names for her, made up songs to make fun of her. So I guess all her siblings (me, another sister & brother) mentally tortured her.

We are all the best of friends now - I think! ;)
