are you a morning person or a night owl?

Interesting theory I heard on Zorba Pasture the other day and wanted to pursue it further.
A woman called in and had a theory that the time of day you were born determined if you were a morning person or a night owl.

The theory follows for me. I was born in the morning and am a morning person.


What about you?

Interesting! I was born at 11:43 a.m. and I've always considered myself an afternoon person. I'm at my best in the early afternoon. I'm definitely not a night owl OR a morning person. Hmmmm.

My dh, oldest son and I were all born at night and are def. night people. Our other 2 boys were born in the afternoon and can go either way.

I would have never thought of the theory myself but this woman had conducted a small poll about it and it had followed as well.



I guess if you were bron in the afternoon you might be a night owl or you might just function best in the afternoon?

when asked this question my mom always answers " I dont know what do you call someone who pretty awake between 2 and 4 in the afternoon?" LOL

I was born at 4:00 PM and am neither a morning nor a night person.

I was born at 10:32 p.m. I'm a morning AND night person! I'm up by 6 each day. I'm up until 2 a.m. at the earliest. Usually hit the sack between 2 and 3 a.m. I try to sleep later, but I can't.

I was born at 4:16 AM and I am NOT a morning person at all. So the theory goes out the window right there.

DD was born at 3:21 PM and she isn't a morning person either. But I don't know what a mid-afternoon birth signifies - it's so... in the middle.

I was born around 5:00pm. I used to be a night owl in my younger days, but now Im a definite morning person.

I was born at 4:44 pm (36 years ago yesterday as a matter of fact!). The older I get, the more of a morning person I become.

I am certainly no longer a night person.

It holds true in my case. I was born at 8 am and I'm definately a morning person.

Born just after midnight and I am a night owl. Both my daughters born around 8 am and both are night owls too. Maybe if they had been born naturally they would have been born at night (scheduled C-secs)
