After our busy day of park hopping, we woke up on Sunday with plans to once again cram as much as we could into our last day at Disney. (Yup, that may be quotation marks around the word last that may or may not be a hint
)
See this look? This is our little girl telling us to get a move on.
We have places to be and characters to see. She even practiced her Minnie Mouse pose in the elevator since she was dressed like Minnie.
Our plan for the day entailed character breakfast buffet at the Swan, hanging out at Typhoon Lagoon, and ending our trip with a signature meal at Flying Fish. I think we drove to the BC and parked there so my husband could get his Beach Club fix. He needs to smell the lobby and just walk through the lobby doors at least once a trip. Plus, its just a quick leisurely walk along the Boardwalk to the neighboring hotel.
I was trying to get a nice scenic shot but someone was a bit impatient.

And just a friendly little gecko

I happen to think the weekend breakfast buffet at the Swan is a perfect way to get in a character meal at the last minute. The only definite plan we had for the trip was the ADR for dinner, so this breakfast idea was a last minute addition. They dont take reservations for breakfast and it wasnt a bad wait at all. I think we waited maybe 5 minutes before we were seated. Plus, the food is pretty good. Not that our little girl cared about the food. She only cared about one thing.
Yup, seeing her friends. See how happy she is now?
Pluto and Goofy came one right after each other so there wasnt too much time to focus on our food just yet.
She was just enamored.
Now we could start eating. Why, hello Mickey waffles. We've missed you so.
I do have to say that while they looked the same, they didnt taste the same to us. It could have just been an off day, but they didnt taste like the addicting Mickey waffles at the resorts and the parks. Hmmmm. Not sure why. Thats okay, my omelet won me over.
My hubby telling me to stop taking pictures of our breakfast so he can eat. I think he was trying out the Eggs Benedict.
Heres someone who doesnt mind that I take a lot of pictures.
For some reason Pluto stopped by again. Either that or our little girl accosted him into stopping which is a totally feasible possibility.
At least you can see that she is making some headway with her breakfast. Although, once a friend stops by, all bets are off. Huge hug for Dale.
I guess he does look pretty cuddly too.
Here is the large tree in the center of the restaurant.
I have to admit that prior to our May trip in 2010, I was always getting Garden Grove confused with Garden Grill. It made the ADR process a little more difficult, but all better now. I do want to try Garden Grill one day.
Chip got a big hug too.
He must have been just as cuddly because he also garnered a big smile.
Now its time for a little prom picture pose with Chip.
A full belly after a fun breakfast with furry friends = a happy little girl and her mommy.
No idea what pose we are rocking here. No idea. Its not even close to being a heart.
Since Im on vacation, I always feel the need to pose with signs. But we love the Boardwalk area.
wait, daddy! I need to get in the picture too! And pose
..
Oh, you didnt like that pose? Okay, Ill try another one. And pose
..
Alrighty then, enough with the posing, time for some swimming! Its typhoon time!
