We're touring Disney like a 3 year old (2TRs in 1!)- UPDATE 5/18 pg. 46

:woohoo: for braving Soarin! How adorable though that she'll like it better when she's 5 or 6 :rotfl:

We were so happy we got to meet up with you and your beautiful family! I wish we had gotten a picture but we'll do that next time :)

Sorry to see your TR end. I hope you have another coming up soon :goodvibes

Catching up. Luvin all the pics and boo to trip report ending

She has now said she might be willing to go on it on our next trip....and has added Goofy's Barnstormer (or whateverit is called now) to the list too. Although - I'll believe that when I see it! ;)

I was so happy that we got to meet you all too! Everyone looked like they were having a great time and y'all are so tiny! I'm so glad it worked out for us to meet up for a brief little moment. Sorry that she wasn't cooperating.

We do have another trip coming up soon, but not sure if I'll do a TR, I'm so behind on all the reading I have to do with other TRs! We'll see if anything big happens on this trip, that may make me change my mind. ;)

Great update!

Yay for trying Soarin!

Cute pics as usual.

Thanks! Have a fantastic trip! I don't remember if you are there now (I'll have to jump over to your PTR) but we'll have to see if we can get in touch. I'd love to know how the character lines are....

Hi :wave2: and thanks! Well, the TR did take a super long time......

Aw, can't believe this is ending! Funny, I just posted about meeting Daisy in that very spot!

Scratch that... this entire update is similar to what I just posted haha! How funny. I would like to try Sunshine Seasons for lunch or dinner. I wasn't too impressed with breakfast. If there really are Mickey shaped cucumbers in the salads then I AM THERE.

Ah, a difference! The Seas is such an awesome pavilion, if you think about it. It's like you're getting an aquarium ALONG WITH the entire theme park! So amazing.

Awww! Hopefully when she's five or six she will LOVE it. How awesome that Stacey persuaded her to try it!

I definitely enjoyed your TRs! :goodvibes

Yum, Sunshine Seasons will definitely always be a stop on my future visits because I just fell for that beet and goat cheese salad! So fresh! So delicious!

Ooo, first ride on Soarin'! How exciting! It's so adorable how she gave an age for when she'd want to ride again! Haha, my brother Matt who is now 13 hates that ride because of the heights. He's cried on that ride before (not audibly)!

DIS meets can be so fun and so nerve-wracking at the same time! This past trip, we bumped into a DISer we had met before during our 2010 trip, and even then, there were a few flutters in my tummy!

ooh, I need to go over and read your latest posts. Funny how the updates are the same. :goodvibes

I love Sunshine Seasons. I just like that you can get breakfast platters there that are warm, not just pastries. But LOVE their lunch options. Never been for dinner since I am usually over at WS by then. I'll let you know if we encounter mickey shaped cucumbers1

Stacy is so persuasive. She is so energetic and infectious that I want to try everything she talks about. ;)

Thanks! I am glad you enjoyed my TRs! I just felt bad that I wasn't as diligent about updating them.

Hi Rachel! Yes, I love Sunshine Seasons as well. Yummy!

yeah, she gave a future age, but not sure if she will actually stick to it. She is currently saying she will try Soarin' again this trip. But we'll see how that goes. I'll let you know via FB or something if she does it! So sad that your brother cried a silent anguished cry on Soarin. :guilty:

Yes, DISmeets are an interesting thing. Fun and exciting but I am typically a quieter person around people I don't know as well, so it can be nerve wracing!

Hiya Ann! I just finished reading all your updates from your August trip, yes I was that far behind!

I know one of these trips I'm going to have to take my boys over to Universal, they just LOVE thrill rides and are starting to bug me about it. I told them it would have to be a long trip to Orlando, because I just can't see me giving up a lot of Disney time to go over to the dark side

Bummer that Irene messed with your flights, but what better place to be stuck?

Your trips to the waterparks look like fun! Another thing that I really want to work in some trip. I thought about it for September, but since we are staying at the BC, I figured SAB was waterpark enough :thumbsup2

Enjoyed your last update! Yeah for a DIS meet with Dawn and Caitlin! :cool1: So glad you got to meet up, but in the words of Captain Oblivious -"If you don't get a picture it didn't happen?" :rotfl:

Looking forward to your final update and your future plans!

I am so impressed with her for going on Soarin'!!! What a big girl. It's so funny that she said "When I'm 5 or 6" because that is Dylan's favorite thing to say when he is scared of something..."No thanks mom. I can do that when I am 5 years old." :rotfl:

We also have some really cute pictures with Daisy and Dylan in that same spot from our last trip. It is one of the reasons that I want to write a TR for that trip. I just need to get it started (as well as working on my last one!). Your little girl takes the best character pictures.

Soooo... speaking of DIS meets. I might have a surprise for you. My sister recently moved to Boston...and we are planning to visit her this summer in July. Please tell me that you live close to Boston.?.? I thought that I remembered that from before. If so, maybe we can meet up for an afternoon? I'm trying not to get too excited until I know if you live close to there, but once I remembered that, I couldn't wait to come message you. :goodvibes

No worries, I am always behind on writing this TR and on reading other people's TRs.

Universal is fun, but I also needed to have my Disney fix in there. And lucky for me, I knew my daughter would also need her Disney fix if we were that close. Universal can be done in a short amount of time, I think. Then again, the only part that interested me was Harry Potter.

That's what I felt like with our extended stay. At least I was in a happy place with tickets!

The waterparks are fun and definitely worth it if you have the water parks and more option. They have been utilized on our free days when we want to do something Disney related but not exactly use up a full park day. I don't know that I would do that if I had SAB at my disposal though. Then again, there is only one slide at SAB.

Thanks! I know, we never got that picture! I think I was jsut so flustered meeting them for the first time and the heat was definitely sinking in. So sad because don't know if we'll get the chance to meet again. I should be back on track with the round up of the TR soon.

Yup - she braved Soarin', but that's pretty much it. She did brave some of the water rides this past trip, but only once. Then it was all - when I am older, or when I am 5 or 6. Again - they are so much alike!!

I know what you mean about the character pics being a reason you want to write the TR. I wrote this one for the sole purpose of sharing our Jessie moment and the Annie pics. They will definitely be in my recap.

And....I totally just sent you a FB message about the summer. Definitely let me know if you come to town! That would be so exciting! :yay::yay: Although, I am warning you that I definitely have a shy girl (even though you can't tell from the character pics)

Sorry for the absence you guys! I was so close to finishing this sucker up and then got sidetracked. I have a good reason, though. I promise!

We were busy the past week and a half taking this little girl
ry%3D400

here
ry%3D400

so she could ride this
ry%3D400

and so she could watch this
ry%3D400
.

And we also took her here
ry%3D400

and ended up meeting this guy
ry%3D400

We also took her here
ry%3D400

so we could ride this
ry%3D400
.

In a nutshell....we enjoyed many of these
ry%3D400

oh so many
ry%3D400

that we were delirious in our happiness
ry%3D400

We had to to sit back and enjoy the view
ry%3D400

and even found a little time to relax
ry%3D400

That is ...until we got stuck
ry%3D400

and had to be rescued, but at least we weren't as bad off as this boat.
ry%3D400

And we got some extra perks for our troubles
ry%3D400

There were also drinks
ry%3D400

and food (nom nom nom) and lot's and lot's of sweets.
ry%3D400

ry%3D400

ry%3D400

Of course we can't forget the poses
ry%3D400

nor the magical moments full of pixie dust
ry%3D400

ry%3D400

And you know we came home with a new friend
ry%3D400

I promise I'll wrap this sucker up soon!

 for another trip!

Your lil one looks so much older in the recent pictures. They grow up too fast which is a great excuse to take as many Disney trips as possible :goodvibes

What an awesome excuse to be absent!! :cool1:

Looks like you had a great time! And I agree, your DD looks so grown up, how the heck did that happen?!

Sounds like a great trip! She's getting so big!!!

We ended up coming home with that same Lady doll I think. Is it the "baby" one?

Sorry I missed the post before we left. I totally would have texted you about the character lines. I just spaced on the tentative plan to do so. sorry!!!

Sounds like you had a great return trip to Disney. Looking forward to the end of this TR and hearing all about your new adventures!popcorn::

Aw! Loved seeing all the pictures! It's like a very mini TR. Hope yall had a great time!

Those are adorable!!!!!! pictures of your daughter. She really has changed a lot since your last TR. It's very cool to see her growing right up.

Now THATs a lot of FPs for your trouble. Very cool!

Going to Disney is a fantastic excuse to not finish your TR sooner!! :thumbsup2 I'm glad you guys had a good time!!

Where is this amazing-looking platter of awesomeness from??????????????? :worship:

hehe, thanks! I figured people would understand! I thought it was a good excuse. We had a great time - I mean, we were at Disney. :goodvibes

That totally scrumptious dessert platter was from Boma! We were celebrating my parents anniversary and my sister's anniversary and that was the surprise they brought out. :thumbsup2

I know, and now we are in deep Disney withdrawal. Or in my husband's case - just the typical case of post-vacation blues. It doesn't help that the weather has been absolutely abysmal since we've come back. :worried:

She is growing up so fast. It makes me sad just to think about it. And those are totally my thoughts - cram in as much as I can while she still sees the magic in Disney. Hopefully she'll grow up to love it like Caitlin.

Thanks! I thought it was a good excuse as well. :thumbsup2

Right? Where is my little toddler? She is so big now, but at least she still fits into a stroller! :lmao:
