We're staying off site..can we attend the Campfire @ FW?

HI - for the first week at WDW we'll be off site/ off property. The first night we're there, though, we'd like to attend the movie at the campfire at FW. Can we do this even though we're not resort guests? We will be checking into WL later on - but my DD wants to go the first night. Thanks for the help

I believe it's open to the public. They do cancel it due to inclement weather sometimes, so you might want to have a backup plan.

Also they sell s'mores fixings, so bring a little extra cash. Yum!

I was told resort guests only. Maybe someone can clarify. According to the Ft. Wilderness fact sheet on All Ears .Net campfire program is resort guest only.

I was also told resort guests only. If you were already there for Hoop De Doo or dinner, then maybe you could work it in.

Officially it's for WDW Resort guests only but I've never seen anybody checked for Id's. Just park in the Reception Outpost lot and take either the Yellow or Orange bus to the Meadows.
