We're Staying at Bay Lake Tower!

We just booked our trip for Aug/Sept of this year! We will be staying in a studio at Bay Lake Tower during the first five nights of our trip. We are down for lake view at the moment, but will check back for MK view. We will be spending the rest of our trip at the Beach Club Villas!

I'm so excited, since this will be the first time I've stayed at a monorail resort with the kids (girl 7, boy 5)!

just be sure to do the MK - probably only the MK while at BLT.

epcot and studio can wait until you are at BCV.

Congrats! It is always exciting to try out the newest DVC resorts! I was surprised I was able to book two nights in a studio at BLT the end of September before we head to Univeral's Portofino Bay Hotel for HHN for 3 nights. I wa sable to book bayview and I waitlisted for MK view which came through about 3 weeks later. Definitely do the MK before going to BCV (which is my favorite DVC resort).

We are booked at BLT also. Question, do you check in at the main desk at CR or do you go straight to BLT? Also, does anybody know if you need a res to get to the observation lounge?

Thanks everyone! My husband and I have been to Disney World over 20 times together since 1995. Both of our kids have been going since they were 6 months old. So we are very excited to be staying so close to the MK! We are well aware that we should take full advantage of that!

Will be staying at BLT for a couple days too! Sept 18-20. After that it's of to a conference for work elsewhere in Orlando. Not too much into the Contemporary Resort but wanted to give the new place a look!

When are you going mcr? We are staying at BLT 1-bedroom Lake View from 8/16 through 8/22!!! As for a previous post...I think we check in at BLT. Not sure about needing a reservation for the observation tower. I would hope anyone that's staying at BLT can go up there. We've always stayed at BWV and can't wait to check out the new resort.

We check in at BLT on 8/28 for 5 nights. Then it's off to BCV! I'm just excited to be staying so close to MK!
