We're moving to Sweden!

is it easy to get working papers in sweden? i know in some european countries it is not.

and have fun with the huge tax rate over there. :)

You're a sweetheart, Poohbear:rolleyes:   . I have been fortunate enough to live abroad and practice medicine in very different cultures and settings. I'm particularly proud of having worked for 6 months, as a volunteer, in the Bornean jungle trying to address rampant TB, typhoid, malaria, and parasitic infections.

I love Norway in Epcot! Great food! :)

Sweden sounds like a nice place. And you are not alone in thinking that the USA is getting worse. I always said if I had to leave the US, I'd go to Canada. It seems very clean and quiet and safe, and I imagine there would be less of a cultural change, assuming I wouldnt live in a French province.

eros that sounds like a really great experience. :)

I've been to Stockholm a few times (one of my best friends since childhood is 1/2 Swedish).

It certainly is a beautiful country and Stockholm is very Cosmopolitan.
It is extremely expensive to live there, though. My friends laugh when we complain about "Taxachusetts" tax rates- it is much higher over there. But apparently, it's worth it for a lot of people
:D

You're seriously considering leaving the country b/c of the sniper attacks?
