I'm particularly proud of having worked for 6 months, as a volunteer, in the Bornean jungle trying to address rampant TB, typhoid, malaria, and parasitic infections.
Sweden sounds like a nice place. And you are not alone in thinking that the USA is getting worse. I always said if I had to leave the US, I'd go to Canada. It seems very clean and quiet and safe, and I imagine there would be less of a cultural change, assuming I wouldnt live in a French province.

I've been to Stockholm a few times (one of my best friends since childhood is 1/2 Swedish).
It certainly is a beautiful country and Stockholm is very Cosmopolitan.
It is extremely expensive to live there, though. My friends laugh when we complain about "Taxachusetts" tax rates- it is much higher over there. But apparently, it's worth it for a lot of people
