"We're keeping the moon!" Another Nikki and Tom Adventure! TR link PG. 37!!

Love the haircut!! I always have to have mine long enough for a ponytail too. Gotta be able to do that for working out or when it's really hot.

I follow your ADR's!! That's probably because I have a few days like that!!

On one day I have 2 Le Cellier ADR's and 1 Via Nappoli... All because I can't decide where we should eat and if it ends up I choose Le Cellier do I want Lunch or Dinner?!!?

LOVE the haircut. I actually cut mine about 4 months after my wedding and never went long again! I have been contemplating growing it out again though as I really don't care for the way it looks right now and thing a little longer may be better.

So glad you could follow it all! Haha! Ya know, every time I cut it short I always say I'll keep it short but somehow it always ends up super long again! Haha!

OH! And I have so many DISer FB friends that I got through another DISer/coworker but I realize that I'm not friends with too many people who follow my TRs. So PM me your FB name if you want to be friends! :thumbsup2

What a great last day in Epcot! :cool1: I can't believe you saw those random characters, that is so cool! I love those mice from Cinderella, they're so cute! :cool1:

Your ADR's for your next trip sound great! Haha, you're doing the same thing with 'Ohana that I'm doing with Le Cellier for my November trip...I can't figure out when the best time to go will be so I've made like 3 or 4 ADR's...:rolleyes1 Hope that's not breaking any rules or anything, but I will cancel them when I figure it all out! :thumbsup2

I love your short hair! I can't believe it was so long! I keep seeing people with really long hair lately and I want to grow mine out again...and mine is a decent length right now, but I want it super long again!

I will PM you my name for FB, I don't know why we haven't been FB friends all this time! :rotfl:

The haircut looks great! And you're right it will be much easier to manage in the lovely August weather :upsidedow

I think you should keep the O'Hana ADR on the 21st and then head to EMH at Epcot. Your ADR is early enough that you will still get to really enjoy alot of time at Epcot. And the ride over will provide enough time for dinner to settle so you'll be ready for food carts (I see a funnel cake with slab of ice cream in someones future :rolleyes1)

I also think you should keep Tokyo for the 20th and then head to EMH at DS. Before I kept reading that you made an ADR here I was going to suggest trying somewhere new either at BW or Epcot. It'll be a much shorter trip to DHS from here than O'hana too

Your hair looks great! And what a wonderful thing to do with your hair to donate. :thumbsup2

Thank you so much for your insight about the ADR situation. I really appreciate it. We just can't skip Tokyo Dining though because that is the ONE place that Tom's niece wanted to eat at.

Your hair looks great! And what a wonderful thing to do with your hair to donate. :thumbsup2

Thank you!

I'd keep the 'Ohana reservation for your first night. That way you can have a break before dinner and then maybe go back to the MK or another park well fed and rested up! We're doing this for our first day for our October trip. I love your haircut and can't wait for your next TR! (Fyi, I've been kind of silently reading this TR - hopefully I'll post more on your next one!)

I have been through many airport delays and they totally suck...especially when you don't know what time you will actually leave. I have missed a connecting flight before too...that sucked. I started crying.

I really think that's what I might do. Glad you are reading, even if you aren't posting but I think you should post more!!

Oh I would totally cry if I missed a connecting flight!

Last night someone PMed me from the August cancellation thread that they had an 'Ohana for the 20th at 5:10 - the EXACT time and date I really wanted! We set up a time this morning and for some reason, I wasn't able to get it. I checked like a thousand times after she canceled. So while I kept hitting "search for a table" I decided to write a song about it...sung to the tune of Rosanna by Toto.

"All I wanna do when I wake up in the morning is see a slot, for
‘Ohana, ‘Ohana
I never thought that a place like that could get away from me, ‘Ohana
All I ever find is a Boma or a Kona but there is not,
‘Ohana, ‘Ohana
The only time I can get for dinner is a 9:15.

Chorus:
Not quite a year since I’ve eaten there
‘Ohana yeah
Now I can’t and I have to say
Need an ADR, Need an ADR
‘Ohana yeah
Need an ADR, Need at ADR
‘Ohana yeah…..

I can smell the meats still grilling on the skewers in the fire pit.
‘Ohana, ‘Ohana
I didn’t know that wings and potsickers could ever taste so good, ‘Ohana

I could take the 6 at Beirgarten but I don’t want to compromise
‘Ohana
I never thought that I would even like the vegetables

Not quite a year since I’ve eaten there
‘Ohana yeah
Now I can’t and I have to say
Need an ADR, Need an ADR
‘Ohana yeah
Need an ADR, Need at ADR
‘Ohana yeah….."

If anyone remembers my "Single Riders" song from a few years ago, you'll see I do this a lot. Tom and I make up songs about random stuff ALL the time. Nowadays, they're mostly about Minerva. The most popular being "Hey hey, it's Minerva!" (Ya know, like "Hey hey, it's the Monkeys") Those lyrics always change, though, depending on what she happens to be doing at the time.

Super cute hair! Love the song too. I can so feel your pain about trying to get the ADRs you want.

Haha, thanks! I really shouldn't complain. I do have THREE 'Ohana ADRs at the moment but not the one I want!

So I finally finished my little bag for Brianne! I don't know if I mentioned before but (as you all know) I'm a little obsessed with Vera Bradley and I was buying a diaper bag for my sister (who's pregnant again!) and I saw that they had these "Ditty bags" on sale for just a few dollars. They are lined for your toiletries so I thought, GREAT! I'll get one for Brianne for packing. Well, when it arrived I was very surprised at how BIG the bag is! I thought it was going to be small.

So since it was big, I decided to make her a little bag 'o fun things for the trip!

Here's the bag all filled with goodies......

And here's what's inside!

IMG_1536.jpg

*1 pair of Reefs (my preferred footwear in the parks!)
*1 pair of cheap Old Navy flips for the pool
*A memory card (We're going to let her borrow one of our cameras and then she can keep the card.)
*A rain poncho
*Toothbrush
*Toothbrush holder
*Lotion
*Shower poof
*Mouse World Travel lanyard with plastic pouch AND Vera wallet (I do this and it's awesome! I keep $, gift cards, ID, etc. right on my neck!)
*And finally, a packing list. One side of things she needs to bring for herself, one side of stuff I will bring for all of us, unless she wants to bring her own (soap, shampoo, razors, etc.)

I can't wait to give it to her! I think she'll be really excited. I don't know if I've mentioned this before, but not only will this be her first trip to Disney World, this will be her first time pretty much on ANY vacation! She's never even been on a plane before. Should be really fun!!

Your hair looks really great! And that's really nice of you to donate it. Also it's super of you to put that bag together for your husbands niece. I'm sure she will love it! And it filled with practical things that she might not realize she would need for her trip as she has never been anywhere before. I PM'ed you my facebook name, hope to see you on there! :)

How sweet of you to do that for your sister. I'm sure she's going to love it.

Well my sister is the one I bought a diaper bag for but it's Tom's niece who we are taking to Disney with us and who I made that little bag for! :goodvibes

Thanks!! I really think she's going to love it. She's very quiet and shy so I can't wait to take her OUT!

Aunt Nikki....I need a few things!

:lmao:

Congrats to your sister and her family!!!

That's so nice of you to put together that bag :) I'm sure she is going to have an amazing time
