As a birthday gift this year, a friend of mine gave me a coffee grinder and a bag of Kenya "Gatura" AA coffee beans from a place in Wellsley Ma., called Karma Coffee. I now no longer care to have coffee anyplace but at home. (even Dunkin Donuts can't compare.) I just finished placing a new coffee order (along with purchasing 2, 7 day hopper passes for disney. Boy is my credit card getting a workout today) and I was wondering how many other Dis's grind their own coffee and what kinds they like. Karma Coffee is very reasonable by most standards at $12.00 per pound. Check them out if you have the chance.

We too are coffee-holics.

We've been grinding our own since before we were married -- and that's coming up on 16 years!

DH especially has to have every coffee gaget known to man. We have regular drip coffee makers, we have expresso makers, we have French presses.

Now, he is looking into home coffee bean roasters!!!

I quit ginding my own for a while-I got lazy. Then I bought my Cuisinart Automatic Grind and Brew.. It grinds the coffee beans and shoots the ground coffee into the filter holder. Then brews the most delicious coffee...I use Gevalia regular blend. It runs about $8/half pound, but definitely worth it. I don't care for the "burnt tar" taste of Starbucks or Pete's, so Gevelia is just right for me. That, and some half and half get's me up and running in the a.m.
