Coming up Stroller Rage!!!!!

We saw many tables of families with one pre schooler and older children and let me tell you the older children were getting down too (13yr olds!!!!) it was just
sooo much fun!!

Our littlest (gabrile 9 months) also loooved looking at everything and dancing in his
high chair!!! it was soo cute!!!

Well we decided to head back to the room for some rest and then we would
be back later that night. As we are exiting, we are caught up in the
parade traffic, so we can't cross the road. NO problem, we find a spot
in front at the TAIL end of the parade, hooooow COOL! we are seated on
the floor and the kids stay in their strollers to watch. NO problem
Autumn is waving, Gabriel is babbling, we are having sooo much fun!
Lilko and Stitch go by, MAry Poppins, and then a couple people with
TEENS step in front of the strollers!!! and JUST STAND THERE!
DH asks them to move and they don't! we ask them again, and they say
no, they want to watch too!! we ask them one final time stating that
the kids cannot see in their strollers!! AND THEY DO NOT MOVE!
One final time....they act like they don't hear us this time, so DH
gets up and RAMS them with the stroller. they look back SWEAR
and move to the side! i mean there was room EVERYWHERE! and they could
see if they stood behind us! we were sitting down!! everyone could see!
The park was pretty EMPTY, there was room EVERYWHERE!
I was pretty steamed, until the family next to us whispered
to me (we would've done the same thing!!) that made me smile!
We REALLY are considerate with our stroller, but i mean these were
ADULTS standing in front of the kids! grrr.....

After the parade we headed out and whipped out the cell phone and found
our car no problem! AWESOME! we hopped in and AWAY we went back to POP!
sorta.....kinda.....

DH decided to hit the WDW outlet in the Premium Outlet mall! They had
some great stuff at great prices! we brought grandma and grandpa and
nana, some T's and the the kids some toys! We were on vacation, so we
only went there and stayed away from the rest of the mall! who wants to
shop?? not us!!

Finally back at the room, we all passed out!!! (gotta love naps!!)

I am very considerate of stroller people and other people. I cannot believe they did that. Good for you on handling it and getting them to move. Seome people think that politeness does not involve them being on the giving side. Rules apply to everyone, but them. Keep up the writing.

Hiya Leigh no we never made it over to Mouse Surplus and DH is still bummed about it!!! We just had no time!! i felt like we still left sooo much left undone this year!! that's why next years December trip is 2 weeks long!!

Still following your report!!

Sorry to hear about the rude people at MGM!! I would have done the same!

We loved H&V Playhouse Disney character meal too!
We went for a late breakfast and had such a great time. Even Lauren did and she can't stand JoJo....you know she's too old for that show!!
We thought the food was really yummy!!! And it was quite empty!
But as we left and lunch was about to begin being served we could see the crowd growing and growing!!

Sorry it's been awhile! just got caught up with the nicer weather
and the kiddies!!
------------

We wake up from our naps and everyone is in a cheery mood, so we
head to the MK instead!! The kids love it there and we figured
we would eat there too!!

We Decide to drive, in case we stay late & we want to take the
enormous double stroller with us! I head out to pull the car up and
load up the stroller, DH is still in the room with the kids and will
catch up.

I started the car, to get the AC flowing and then i get everything
loaded, when MY FAVORITE song comes on!!! No, not a Spice Girls tune
Nahhh not that SeXy BaCk song again THIS is just
pure genius it's....


THE THONG SONG!! hahaha!!! i can't believe i like it, but i do!
i'm outside of the car cleaning out the junk and little do i know
i'm SINGING and DANCING all at the same time!! DANCING!! well
a family passes me by and they are laughing and the dad says:
"get down" now i'm a bit embaressed, but i keep on doing it!
can't let him think i didn't know i was doing it!! Then i spot DH and
he is about to turn around!!!

ME:

"come on dear it's no thattt bad!!"

DH

"who are you talking to??"

ME:

"sal get your thong wearing butt in this car!!"

Yup, you read it!! i said MY JAM?!? ohhh dear somebody just put
me out of my mommy 'cool' now!! haah!! i've become that mom
that thinks she is sosooooo sooo cool, when all she does is embaress
her kids!! and to think i will only get wierder with age!!


With that problem solved, we head out to the MK!!

***SIDE NOTE***

With every day we drove i REALLY REALLY thought the kids would HATE
getting into their car seats and fight us non-stop! but they seemed to
LOVE them! they got their own space and had their own windows and were
not smushed on our laps! I HIGHLY reccomend renting a car if you are
not as crazy as we are and don't drive there

***END SIDE NOTE!***

We get to MK and there is a line at the entrance to park, where you pay
It moves pretty fast though, so no problems there! Except when we get
to our turn. 10$ he says and we let him know we are resort guests.
Jim says you need to keep the paper on the passenger side, so we can
see it.

ME:
"sorry!! the gate guy at the resort told us to put it on the Drivers
side so they could see it"

Jim the CM:
"Well then you need to only get in lines where the booth is on the
Drivers side"

ME:
"ohhh all right! thanks!"

**Note from ME**
I NEVER EVER knew this! i was even a CM at the Yacht club and when
i would hand over the parking pass, i would just say put it in your
dashboard for the length of your stay!!
Anyone else ever hear of this??

we are parked and in another GREAT SPOT! we are NOWHERE near
the tram, but within TOTAL walking distance in!! so we head off!

First things first, we head over to Fantasyland to EAT!

This is to be tied with the MOST dissapointing meal EVER! we wanted
to try as many new places as we could this trip, as we always do.
Pinocchios Village Haus always seemed cool, since it had that view
of IASW. We figured that it would keep the kids occupied to wave to
everyone!! (it worked!!)

The food was not very good in our OP. (DH got an Italian sub sandwich
and he gave it a 4 out of 10) I had the Panini (6 out of 10) and the
kids menu was lacking, so we gave them food off of our plates!

We would most likely NEVER eat here again. It's a shame, though becuase
the View is FABUlOUS!!!

We get onto POOHs Honeypots with a 5 minute wait! The kids loved it
all again!

There was a HUGEEEE line at Snow White's scary adventures so we
passed that up!

Tea Cups again for DH and DD!! Ds and i decide to stay back and watch!

A stop into tinkerbells treasures has our wallets empty and the
kids happy! (i love this store! one of my faves!!)

Has anyone noticed that Peter Pans Flight ALWAYS has the LONGEST
lines???? Every year we go!!! We didn't wait as we knew it would get to
Autumn after awhile. But hey look! Surprise Surprise! IASW has no line!
sooo needless to say that's where we head
TWO TIMES in a row!! The kids can't get enough! it's like an addiction!
Is it possible that this little harmless ride has subliminal messages
in it's unending song????

It's a small world after all....

Off to the Haunted Mansion!!!

Thanks for the new installments!
I have to say, in my many trips to WDW, I've NEVER been told to keep the resort guest parking permit on one side, nor to only enter gates on the same side as the permit! Once or twice rain or glaring sun made it tough for the CM to see it and they asked me to show it to them, but they were very nice. That's just weird
