Oh you know how much I love photo updates! She's getting so big! Looks like she holds her head up pretty well too. So cute! Did you have to deal with baby acne or dry scalp (I forget the term)? I remember around that time having to deal with that.

Am so jealous of the sleep you're getting. Calvin was doing good up until a week ago. He's been because of me, so now he's only sleeping every 3 hours. Feels like he is 1 week old all over again. He has a bad little cough which I hope is nothing that keeps waking him up.

Dug baby is so adorable!! I love the pictures. Hooray for the long night sleeps!! I'm sure you are enjoying them I'm so far behind on all the threads I follow, I graduate in just a few weeks and have had so much to do! Finally have a breather tonight as I didn't have work or school yesterday or today so enjoyed a rare two days off. I cooked yesterday but was able to relax a bit today. I will go catch up on your TR next.

Aww, great pictures, she looks like such a happy baby! And horray for longer stretches of sleep! I gotta say, that's one of the things I think I'll miss the most once my LO is here. I love sleep too much. But 6-7 hours sounds like a nice long amount of time. I hope for your sake she keeps it up.

Yes, she does hold her head up really well. She's apparently pretty strong. We had a pediatrician appointment today and she was impressed that Dug Baby enjoys standing and sitting on the couch (with balance assistance). I guess that is more of a 4 month thing? She is getting big. Weighed in at the 50th percentile at 10 lbs. 12 oz. today, but 23.5 in. long (90th percentile!! wow!!). She had pretty bad baby acne for a couple weeks, but that's pretty much gone away now. She does have dry scalp/cradle cap still. I love that she's suddenly become such a good sleeper! She's in bed right now (for the last half hour), so I'll have to take advantage of that soon to get to sleep myself!

Hope you had a good Thanksgiving too! For what it's worth on the sleep, it was 8 weeks and 1 day that she suddenly went from a max long stretch of 4-5 hours to 6-9 hours. She's done that every night since except for the two where we were out of town over the weekend. So, hopefully, Calvin will stretch out his nights by the time you get to WDW!

Thank you! Thanks for your help on sleep too! That troublesometots website had some really helpful stuff on it, especially the "normal" for newborns chart. It's especially helped me to get better naps out of her.

She is a pretty happy baby! I know what you mean...I love sleep too! It helps to keep things dim and calm for middle of the night feedings...for both baby and mom. Easier to go back to sleep/not wake up too much. But, during those first few weeks, you'll probably still be up a lot...just know it will get better and better. And, yes, 6-7 hours is probably all I was sleeping most work nights before baby anyway!

Thanks! Yes, she's still got her name on that Poly reservation! We sure are enjoying her, especially since she's gotten so smiley and giggly now! I can't wait to take her to WDW and satisfy that list of Disney cravings!

Oh My... I just read through your entire birth story... I so admire your tenacity in having a natural birth (For a whole variety of reasons both of my babies were C-section) and it really does sound as if you were in a hospital that really supported you in that...

Having said that... I guess that you have learned a life long lesson... that motherhood is not for wimps... not even from the very beginning... it's amazing the strength you'll find for your child... strength that you didn't even realize you had...

Isabella is so very beautiful and it looks as if you are enjoying every moment with her...

I look forward to seeing how she and the three of you all grow as a family before her first Disney Adventure...

Hi, all. Sorry I've been MIA lately. Between the holidays and going back to work, I really haven't had any time for DIS-ing. However, baby is sleeping now and I thought I'd take a brief break from wrapping gifts to throw a few recent pictures on here.

We staged some Christmas photos with Dug Baby:

She's grown so much!

Well, I should get back to wrapping gifts and get some sleep before more family gatherings! It's quite the exhausting battle to keep Dug Baby from getting overstimulated and overtired at these things! We're bringing all the sleep-related items we have tomorrow and hoping for the best. She's such a good baby most of the time, but she just can't handle all the excitement!

I look forward to the day (not sure when) that I can devote more time to the DIS. I've been thinking about our trip and planning and even emailing back and forth with my former boss to help plan his Dec. 2013 trip with his extended family. Disney is on the brain. Less than a year to go!

Oh my goodness she's gotten so big! She's so adorable!

We had DH's family gathering yesterday and he was fussy. Probably from being passed all around. And then tonight, my DB and Dsil had a party so he was passed around a little bit there. And then there is Christmas day when i'm sure he'll be passed around again with my family. It's never-ending!
