We're cropping this weekend.....

Well my weekend long family crop has finally arrived. We are still expecting my aunt and cousin who are driving down Saturday morning. We've been going at it tonight since about 7pm. Now grant it I've been doing alot of organizing and power planning (and some cooking) and just plain getting ready for tomorrow's super crop, but I did get 2 pages done tonight. I'll keep a running total for you guys (this will hopefully keep me motivated a little ) Heading to bed for a few hours of sleep then we'll be up to watch QVC and crop some more!

I'm amazed you were able to get 2 pages done with all the other stuff involved in hosting! DDIL came over on Sunday afternoon a couple weeks ago. Over the course of about 5 hours all I got done was to decide which pix (it was a surprise that she came over), decide on cardstock, and crop & mount 4 pix.

I decided to work on a double layout of the WL, so paper was a given. I had just gotten a really neat one with a bear across the bottom & paw prints across the diagonal. What I hadn't realized was that I'd been getting 12x12 papers, but no card stock & such for mounting. I had to convince DD to give up a few sheets out of the Little Sizzles pad I'd gotten her. DD also needed a lot of help in figuring out what she was supposed to be doing - her first page ever, first time with the CM tools, etc.

DDIL ended up giving DD more help than I did & must have done 12 pages in her little 6x6 Disney album. Of course she is just doing a standard CM type layout & not a lot of journaling on those pages.

I only had to cook dinner (already marinated)....I can't imagine all the other prep you have to handle. So I'll say it again - I'm impressed that you were able to complete 2 pages!
