DAY 6 - NARCOOSSEE DINNER
Okay this was our last dinner of our trip and I purposely planned to eat at Narcoossee on that night. We had a 8:30pm adr b/c we want to catch wishes. We waited about 5 minutes to be seated. We were seated on the second level and its a great view of the water and of the castle (I just love that castle

)
Its a beautiful restaurant!
For appetizers dh and grandpa oredred the mussels and they both said they were excellent. I ordered the Bisque and it was excellent but wow there wasn't much!
For entrees myself and grandpa ordered the full lobster and dh and grandma ordered the surf and turf, dd had the chicken fingers and fries.
Okay the full lobster was very good. It was already cracked so it was easy eating. It came with some brocollini and potato gratin. All very good.
The surf and turf was also very good, apparently the steak was excellent but teh lobster was just good, it wasn't as good as the whole lobster.
DD chicken fingers were very good almost as good as Fultons Crab House.
We also ordered a bottle of wine that was very good, sorry I forget which one.
DH, grandpa and I ordered the almond crusted cheesecake and honestly it has too much almond. And I am not talking about the sahved almonds on the outside, its the almond extract that they use in the cheesecake, its just over-powering.
DD had the smores and its the first time she has had smores and she didn't like to put it all together and she didn't like the crackers so she ate the marshmellows and chocolate separately.
Wishes was beautiful to watch. They actually turn down the lights at the restaurant so we can really appreciate the fireworks.
It was a very long dinner, over 2 hours and it was a very expensive dinner.
Would we go back......in a heartbeat!
Up next, Grand Floridian Cafe for breakfast.
