We had a blast of course!! The kids did great and we got alot done. The parks were pretty quiet on Thursday and most of Friday. In fact on Friday morning we went to MK and had all of tomorrowland to ourselves for a good hour and a half. Seriously like 25 other people there the whole time! Went on buzz 3x in a row, much to my 3yr old's delight!!
Thursday we did MGM in the morning and basically just did Who Wants To Be A Millionaire (I ended up in 3rd place!) and the Playhouse Disney show. Thursday night we went to Epcot but didn't get there till after 7 since it rained most of the afternoon. We visited as many of the countries as we could before watching Illuminations.
Friday morning like I said we were at MK right when it opened and spent most of the day there, and saw the parade at 3. After a nap at the hotel (We stayed at All Star Sports and LOVED it) we went to Trails Inn and met some family for dinner. We ended up going back to the hotel and went swimming and played in the game room that night. No rain at all that day and it was HOT!!!
Saturday was PACKED!!! We went to Epcot in the morning and met family again. My grandmother watched the kids while sis, hubby and I rode Mission Space (awesome) and Test Track. Then we had PS for The Garden Grille Character Lunch at 12:30. We had a blast at that! My 3yr old would NOT go up to any of the characters in the park but for some reason would at the character lunch. WEIRD!!! And the food was really good too. It stormed the whole time we were in there and most of the rest of the afternoon. It cleared up around 6pm so we headed over to the MK for spectromagic and fireworks. It was a mad house but we found great seats by the bridge that connects main street to Liberty Square.
Today we went to Animal Kingdom. It was pretty crowded. We did the safari ride and saw the Lion King show and decided to go back over to MGM. In MGM we did the Muppet show and a few other things and the weather slowly got worse and worse so we left at about 4.
The weather all the way home was awful. And there was a bad accident on the Turnpike (at least one person died that we know of). It's usually a 2 1/2 hour trip but it took us almost 4 to get home....so we are exhausted.
One other thing...my 10month old decided that he did not want to be in the stroller at all the whole time we were there. So I carried him around in a hip sack the whole weekend. I am sooooo sore now!!!
