Adventures in Downtown Disney
Ahoy there, fellow DIS'er!
I couldn't believe it, but I ran into another DIS'er when we were walking back to our car at the Polynesian! I heard someone say, "Excuse me, are you Fairy_Tale_Bride?" I couldn't believe it! It was
J.C.&ALISMOM! I recognized her name from the Disney Picute of the Day Thread! I had run into two DIS'ers in the same morning! Wow!

Here's my shout-out to
J.C.&ALI'SMOM!
Our next adventure on our voyage takes us over to Downtown Disney, where Princesses and Pirates also play!
I was thirsty and was craving another Goofy Glacier from Goofy's Candy Company! It is my favorite place at Downtown Disney!
I just love picking and choosing your own cups and ICEE flavors. My Mom said she'd get one too, so I could add another cup to my collection! I chose Goofy and my Mom went with Stitch. My Mom tried the Pink Lemonade flavor and I went with the Sour Grape. Yummy!
My collection is growing!
In honor of Valentine's Day!
I've been to Goofy's Candy Company many times, but never realized you could create your own candy! I found out about it from my fellow DIS'ers, of course!

I knew I had to make some thing for dessert later! I checked out the instructions and saw the slips of paper you use to make your order. I couldn't believe all the options! You could make your own marshmallows, Rice Crispy Treat, gingerbread man, pretzel, and cookie! Wow!

I didn't know what to choose, but then I saw you got a free Mickey straw with the marshmallows, so that sealed the deal for me!
I grabbed my pencil and started making a check-mark by how I wanted my marshmallow to be created! I decided to have it dipped in white chocolate, then Reeces Peanut Butter Cups, and to top it off, a drizzle of milk chocolate!

Yes, I do have a sweet tooth!
I handed the cute older gentelman behind the counter my order and he went to work! It was so neat to watch him create my order! First, they dipped my marshmallows then rolled it into the crunched up Reeces. The next step was to refridgerate for a few secons and bring it back out for the chocolate drizzle Then, it was time for it to be refridgerated again and taken off the plate, so it could be wrapped up very nicely in my To-Go box. It even had a slit on the side, so the Mickey straw could fit!
I couldn't wait to bite into it later! I couldn't believe how large it was and so filling! It's a pretty good deal too! I found all the food items to be very reasonably priced, so make sure to stop by and get yourself a snack before you walk the plank!
Back on the ship Matey's it's time to prepare for the Party! Arrrr!
