So everyone is telling me to request a room close to the elevators at BWV, when should I do this? Now or when we check in?

Request it now. Sometimes rooms are preassigned, it might be too late when you check-in.

The usual advice is to make the request when you make the reservation. Please remember that they are only requests and are not guaranteed.

Hi neighbor!

We always request a room as far from the elevators as possible. If you are at Disney you are going to do a lot of walking unless you are in a wheelchair. We generally find the rooms furthest from the elevators to be quieter. It seems like the children tend to run and make more noise as they get closer to the elevator. If you have a standard room the view can be quite nice overlooking the pond but you have to walk to the end of the hall to get there. That's our preferance anyway.

We do the same for the same reasons! I would not want to be close to the elevators at BWV unless I am traveling with wheelchairs, strollers, or ECVs. There is always more noise coming from the hallways (children running and people talking) than from the outside.

Best wishes-
