Yes I saw that too! I was looking at a country wide map with current temps and I could not believe how low they have been recently.I think the highest was 61 degrees in New Mexico.
I was also looking at Orlando to see what kind of temps they were getting and it was like 46 degrees! That's crazy.Go figure.....
But I wouldn't worry about the lower temps in Orlando right now. You'll still have the warmer/better weather than up here in the Northeast.
Lucky you!

Debbie

We are in north fl and it gets and stays cooler here during the winter months.

We were in the 20's yesterday and at 34 right now. But it WILL warm up to the mid 60's! :) I think tomorrow is back in the 20's, up to 50's. This way all week. But then we get some warm days mixed in.

We lived in many places and cold here seems colder for some reason. I have played in the snow in Michigan and never felt cold. It is probably due to all the water around us. It is often cold and windy here, especially in January. Orlando is not cold as often, and has many warm days in the winter. It really depends on what part of FL you are in.

Where in Florida?

I am loving our weather right now. It was 53 when I waked the dog this morning. This is the perfect weather for me!!

Crazy person. ;)

This is me. :cold: 44 degrees according to the Orlando Sentinal web site.

I didn't know you were moving!!! Good I'm glad the cold is moving with you;)

Tina! Love the pictures! Glad Matt is home safe and sound!!

Hubby got a great job offer we couldn't say no to so off we go. I'm not heading down though until junior graduates HS this spring. I'll be making plenty of visits though! :rotfl:

My new mantra is "one more winter....one more winter."

The cold won't last for more than a few days, then it will be back to beautiful weather.

Boys are doing good! Jeff is getting certified in a couple weeks with his new dog then heading to Ft. Knox for some school thing. Then he'll be up for promotion to E-6.
C is having a blast tearing up London and A is loving college. Starts all his kitchen lbs after Thanksgiving break. T is moving with us to Florida and will work with Dad while taking a few college classes while he figures out his path.
I couldn't ask for better kids.

So, house hunting! That's so exciting!! I guess no base transfers in your future?

Awwww Im so happy to hear the boys are doing so well. And I'm sure they'll be more than happy to go "home" to Florida instead of the frozen tundra.

We are moving to D.C. because Matt has received a promotion in October and then received a position at the Pentagon. Supposedly 4 years nondeployable!:cool1: I asked him if he could go on short TDY's when he gets on my nerves:rotfl: We report to the new place in just 4 months:eek:

Congratulations to Matt! That is great! Nondeployable is always nice too! When you need a break, come visit me! Of course you are always welcome to join us wacky ladies next year at our annual TnT trip!!! :woohoo:

Are you looking for hot weather? REALLY hot weather? 350 days of the year where the sun shines? 'Cause I know where you can find it. It's here with us in southern Arizona.:scared:

It's still in the 80's here...and hot...and sunny. I really don't want to complain because we left New England because we were tired of the cold and the snow, and we never want to shovel snow again, but...

did I mention it's hot here!?!?:rotfl2:

Debbie

That map was wrong...didn't make it out of the 40's today.
