Was walking the dog & I could hear someone yelling for help. I then realized it was my elderly neighbor and thought the worst. So, I zipped over there as quickly as I could and thankfully he was okay. He's had both legs removed above the knee and has an electric wheelchair. And he was stuck in the mud in his yard. His little dog got struck by a car (she's okay) and in his panic, he zipped out into the yard for her and got stuck, phone inside.
Pretty quickly, I realized there was no way I could unstick him by myself, so my wife called the neighbor across the street who was just sitting down to dinner with a bunch of guests. He came over with 2 other guys and we were able to get the whole works (chair, neighbor, and dog) back up on concrete and use his hose to clean off the wheels before he went inside.
Wasn't at all what I expected just taking the dog for a walk!

Do unto others...thanks for helping, Gumbo.
