What is it you are doing for Halloween this year?

I'm celebrating early at WDW next week, but for the real day... Probably nothing... I know I'm boring.

If I'm going to wear a costume, I want to go full blown Hollywood style, and I just don't have that kind of money.

I have that red dress that got "my girls" so much attention here on the boards, sparkly red devil horns, black porn shoes and I have to buy black fishnet stockings...

So this year for the Gay High Holiday, we haven't had the time nor the money to do much of anything. It's so expensive anymore to do anything decent. Plus, I swear I can't find half of what we own. It's in the house somewhere....

So this year, since we're already invited to a couple parties we need something cheap and easy (no comments please), we're going as (I know this is quite the stretch) Disney Dorks. We're wearing our Disney tshirts, hoodies, ears, pin lanyards.

Well I already went to Halloween Horror nights at Universal thats my annual thing. I havent been invited to any parties so Ill be checking my inbox

Our 14 year old has been in the decorating mode since Oct 1st! We've got the yard turned into a cemetary. She's turning our front porch into an evil labratory for the 31'st when the kids come around. DP is working that night, so I'm going as an EVIL NURSE and I'll hand out candy to the kiddies!

I think this is our favorite day of the year!! We are getting ready, all 23 rubbermade containers are out of the attic! The big stuff is still in the garage, all 50 bales of Hay have been ordered. I just have to buy the candy , oh and DECORATE!!! LOl we do that the day before. We do run all the electrical so we are ready. We get over 400 kids so it is a really good time!


Has anyone been to a Halloween store this year? The have an animated jason......so cool. I think we might pick him up ! jay jay jay jay son son son son..........

This year the chihuahua is going to be a rooster....... its a special outfit we picked out just for our neighbor.

Yes they are , and we really do!!! On the flip side, I might have 1 box for christmas......

You sound like my best friend and her husband who live outside of Seattle. Halloween is her favorite holiday. It takes her about a full month to decorate. They install a maze, huge pirate ship, outside dungeon, huge graveyard, smoke machines, strobe lights, sound effects. Inside their house, not one thing DOESN'T have something halloween related on it. She has boxes and boxes of nothing but costumes. They have about 100 people every year at their party. You wouldn't believe how jealous she was when she found out we moved to a street called "shady Hollow". She's always wanted to live on a halloween sounding street.

Me? We have 2 boxes. Christmas? Around 40. Have three full size trees, few smaller trees, 10 boxes of ornaments, 50 house christmas village and don't get me started on all of the Disney Christmas related stuff. Even full size Mickey and Tigger figures in Christmas attire.

We each have our holiday we go a tad bit overboard on.

Not really sure what, if anything, we'll be doing....we fly to Puerto Rico on the 30th, so we'll be there on Halloween, then catching the cruise ship on the 1st for a week....been trying to find info on the local celebrations, etc....but no luck thus far....UGH...

Oh we usually take tons of pictures, especially this year since we're having a housewarming/Christmas party the first saturday in December. Which by the way everyone here is invited!
