Wow!

I always liked and respected Cathy. She is one of those people who just represented the DIS to me. I can't believe she is banned.

And Michelle too! She was the cruise board. I few years back when I took my cruise, Michelle and Alex were so helpful to all of us planning our cruises. Michelle was always so nice to everyone. I can't imagine her ever doing anything to deserve banning.

Cathy and Michelle, you will be missed.

I was shocked and saddened when I signed on this morning and heard about these bannings

I didn't frequent the cruise board & didn't get the opportunity to know Michelle but I am very sorry to hear that she is gone also. My heart goes out to both of you!

I'm also clueless as to what happened, but I'm also saddened. Don't know as much about Michelle as I was not on the cruise board often, but I always respected CC and her posts. I also don't understand why in the two years I've been on this board, so many of the best moderators (or general posters) have been banned. It's disheartening and leaves a lot of holes and unanswered questions to so many of us.

Meanwhile, best of luck to both CC and Michelle.

CathyCanada was the person who convinced me to resume posting again (as myself ). Now, she's gone.

I am very saddened by this, but in a way not surprised-- since it has been awhile since our "host" has made such a bizarre decision.

How sad, I can't believe CC has been banned, I am just in shock over the blatant uncaring. I am sickened over it. I pray that her nephew is fine and that this will be a good thing for her. I think CC knws she has a lot of friends, and I think she knows where she can find a lot of them.

I am stunned to read of this latest turn of events--both CathyCanada and Michele being banned. Now I read that Alex feels it's time for him to "take a break". What on earth is happening on the DIS?? It just makes me so sad to see great DISers leaving.

I just want to say thanks to all three of you for everything you've done to make the DIS such a wonderful place to "visit." Frankly, it won't be quite as wonderful anymore.

Cathy, please know we are all praying for your family . Hopefully, you can keep us informed somehow.
