Hi Everyone: Received our package from DVC Wed. signed the forms and sent them away by fedex, paid by credit card and now we're waiting for our deed and official membership card. It took us 10 years of research to buy, but finnaly did it. Canadian Tom

Congratulations! Maybe we should start a "Ten year to decide" club. We could be the charter members :)

Hello: We bought BCV direct from Disney. 150 points and use year is March. I know 10 years is a long time, but we really love the YC/BC area and were waiting for it to open, so that covers the greatest wait time. How do I explain the rest of the wait? Easy, My times for vacation are very restrictive, but plan to retire in June 2004. I have been allowed to bank 100% of may March 2003 points until next year. So I ready to go. We have rented points from another DVC'er for our March 2004 trip to BCV and are planning a Nov. 2004 and a Feb 2005 trip there. Retirement may be just the perfect job for us. Canadian Tom.

Welcome Home. eh?
I love Canadians, especially for neighbors. Hope to see you at WDW.

CONGRATS AND WELCOME HOME, NEIGHBOR!!!!
Hope to see you around the BCV from time to time!

Welcome Home!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations !!!!

We bought our first contract when we lived in Toronto; Moved to Houston soon after. It was a big decision for us, too. Was it too far to go every year? Currency concerns? Maybe we should buy a cottage up North instead, ? etc.

How often do you go? Do you drive?

Canada, my Canada
You're a lifetime journey for the traveler...

Ooops, sorry I had the song from Canada at Epcot stuck in my head!

Welcome Home!

Hi TimC: We have gone at least once a year for the last 10 years and plan on going probably twice a year for a couple of weeks at a time. 2 sun.-thur weeks in Nov. and feb-mar. May drive or may fly. Since I retiring next year, time will no longer be a factor that has prevented us from driving. Now it's just sometimes it's cheaper to fly than drive.
