Well imagine my surprise!June 2009 PTRw/pics 7/7 pg. 76 NEW TR started link on pg. 76

:rotfl: I don't think I noticed that until you just mentioned it!!!! Ha ha!

BWV are our second favorite resort. We have had many phenomenal stays there!!!

Holy cow! How did I miss the change to BWV??? I know you'll love the area, Diane. I'm so excited about trying the villas myself. :thumbsup2

HI! Just found your TR and thought you'd like to know we'll be getting to WDW June 22nd!

WELCOME!!! How fun, maybe we will bump into one another!!:goodvibes

Hi Diane!

Haven't been able to get on the DIS much in Nov/ Dec so I'm just reading now.

Two weeks sounds great!

Lots of ADRs! Should be some great meals.

Poor Eric, I can imagine how upset he was about missing Star Wars weekends. I would have liked to go at the end of June next year for it. But if they keep those dates we will never be out of school in time. They should have made the announcement MUCH earlier. Doesn't Disney realize how far in advance we plan these trips.

I think you mentioned SW flights, I was on their site last night, and they are currently listing flights opening up on Jan 29 for travel thru mid August. The date is on the special offers page.

The boys look as cute as ever! Sounds like a fun Christmas.
How nice to get away to Atlantic City, and f&W sounds great too!

Hi Kathleen! :cheer2: I am glad you found us and caught up!:thumbsup2 Thanks for all your sweet comments!!:goodvibes

About the credit card thing--they've always done this for holidays. I remember having to use a credit card for the reservations for Christmas Eve & Christmas Day. We weren't on the dining plan, though. It seems odd that they'd require a cc for someone on the dining plan but I guess it would cut down on the overbooking.

:rotfl2: Your funny Amy!! Yes we are SO EXCITED to try out BWV!! That is why I am expecting a full report from you!!:thumbsup2

:rotfl: I don't think I noticed that until you just mentioned it!!!! Ha ha!

BWV are our second favorite resort. We have had many phenomenal stays there!!!

So good to know, thanks so much! We are thrilled to be within walking distance of both Epcot AND DHS:thumbsup2

Seriously, not only is it a beautiful and fun resort, but you cannot beat the location. We've stayed there 4 or 5 times. A couple of my TRs detail the BWVs.

So good to know, thanks so much! We are thrilled to be within walking distance of both Epcot AND DHS:thumbsup2

Well it has been a whirlwind couple of days.... starting on Wednesday, the boys got there report cards and I am proud to say they both did VERY WELL!:thumbsup2 I am sure I have mentioned it prior but Eric was born about 4 1/2 weeks early and contracted RSV at 7 weeks old and was hospitalized for a week over his 1st Christmas and New Years:sad2: Well he has had ongoing struggles ever since so because of this, we take him to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia every 4 months for a check up. Well on 1/21 we took him for a 3:30pm appointment which means we have to take him out of school early. It takes us about 1:45minutes to get to Philly. The appointment went great and they actually reduced some of his medication which is AWESOME! We left Philadelphia at 4:45 and di not get home until about 7:30pm, we totally hit rush hour traffic and it was a nightmare. As we are driving home, I get a phone call that a friend of ours was rushed to the hospital because she was bleeding internally from her liver after routine kidney stone laser surgery! She has been put in intensive care and we are praying for her! Then on Thursday night Eric has a MAJOR asthma attack, and he hasn't had a bad one in over a year. He was soooo scared the poor thing! So we gave him his rescue inhaler and he got better...or so we thought! Around midnight he woke up and threw up all over the place on my bed:crazy2: The poor thing is so little to begin with and it was just so awful for him! Needless to say I got NO sleep for 2 nights straight but I am happy to say he has recovered nicely and bounced back enough to go to the pinewood derby for scouts yesterday!

I was excited and nervous at the same time because neither one of my kids likes to lose:rolleyes1 There are MANY rules to follow for this such as the weight of the car, etc. I am very thankful that Bryan is a den leader because he had a GREAT grasp on how to do it all! Here are some pics...

Well Matthew won his 1st heat and Eric came in 3rd out of 3 BUT he raced his car backwards!!

The boys ended up doing REALLY well, Matthew placed 1st in his den and Eric placed 3rd! Eric also won a trophy called "Best in Show" which all the scouts vote on for the car they like the best!!

So, you may be wondering what the heck this all has to do with Disney well.....nothing really except at dinner last night Bryan says "you know, until we make the countdown calendar we should play a game called "picture this" and what you do is each member of the family will say picture this...and then say something about Disney" Bryan started and said "picture this" Both kids in the kids club and you and I walking through World Showcase with drinks in hand waiting for Illuminations to start!!! If that doesn't make the stress just melt away ..........:cloud9:

So this morning we were cleaning out our closet and I came across some pictures from the boys very first trip to Disney!! Eric was only 5 months old and Matthew was 2.

So glad Eric is okay

Trent has not had an attack since last July. I don't want to jinx myself...so knock knock on wood.

Congrats to the boys on their trophies. Their cars are great:thumbsup2

Picture This sounds like fun way to pass the time :goodvibes

aww your boys look adorable in their scout uniforms! It reminds me of my brother when he was that age, he loved scouts too, strangely the uniforms aren't too dissimilar either... although I think my brothers was green!
I love the old Disney pictures too, have you shown the boys yet? Bet their reactions were hilarious!!
PS. Glad to hear Eric is feeling better... and congrats on his tablets being decreased :thumbsup2

Aw poor guy...I hope he stays well!

The boys look adorable in their uniforms! And thanks for sharing the old pics! I just shared a few of mine the other day on my TR haha.

This picture cracked me up because they can't even see over the top of the thing. :rotfl2: No wonder he raced it backwards!

I'm glad Eric is doing better and I hope your friend is okay, Diane. What a scary week! The pictures of the kids when they were little are great. I'm actually scanning a bunch of old pics for a graduation movie for Caitlin. I'll have to see if I have some Disney ones in there.

That sounds like and awful couple days. So happy Eric is feeling better. How is your friend doing? Congrats to the boys on their car races. I have a girl scout so this week is the first I heard about this. The old pictures are so cute! Sounds like Bryan is looking forward to Disney :thumbsup2.

I hope your friend gets better soon and I am so glad that Eric bounced back from his asthma attack -- how scary!

Congrats to the boys for doing so well at their races!

So sorry about Eric and his asthma attack! Those things are scary! I'm feeling your pain about no sleep. My youngest DD went to the ER this morning with a ruptured eardrum.
I'm glad that Eric's tests came back super duper!!!

I hope your friend is okay. Keep us posted.

The Scouts pictures are fun. That's a great thing for the boys to be involved in. I'm glad they were both well and able to participate in the races.

Great jobs on the cars, boys!:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Great pics! It's crazy how they grow so fast! I'm glad he is doing better and they've reduced his medication....:thumbsup2 Excellent news!

My daughter was nearly 8 weeks early and weighed only 2lbs 12oz when born so I totally understand where you are coming from with RSV. She was only able to get the shot for it through her first winter and luckily never got RSV. It is a scary thing, though! Sounds like he's doing great now.

BTW -- I love your hair curly! Very pretty!
