Well imagine my surprise!June 2009 PTRw/pics 7/7 pg. 76 NEW TR started link on pg. 76

Hi Diane - I have been a lurker on your last trip reports and on the pre-trip report as well. I have really enjoyed the adventures of your family. Thanks for sharing the Disney on Ice pics. My boys are teenagers now but that really brought back some fond memories of our Disney on Ice shows. The "DH" comment was hysterical ! Can't wait to hear more about your trip plans.

WELCOME!!:cheer2: Thanks for coming out of lurkdom and for all of your sweet comments! So does raising boys get harder or easier as they get older? I know that whole DH thing was hilarious! Bryan is still busting my chops about it today!

that ice show looks amazing, when I saw your picture of BTM it made me laugh so much, the effort that has gone in to making the rides look real is fantastic :)
I'm glad you and the boys enjoyed it!! :thumbsup2

THe boys looks so cute in their matching mickey shirts and I love your Mickey Ball cap..I have one like that, but red:goodvibes

The show looked like so much fun. Will have to get Trent to one of those in future.

That is hilarious about DH comment....my mom and I did that once..talked all in abbreviation in front of my dad to see how he would react

He thought we were nuts :lmao:

Diane,
LOVED the pics. Wish that show came to us, that one looks amazing and good for boys too. Luke was so bored at the last one because CARS came out for literally 5 min. and Tinkerbell was the ENTIRE last half.
That is so funny about the DH comment:rotfl:

I don't know that it gets easier or harder it is just different. :confused3 My husband and I say all the time that when our boys were little it was physically exhausting but now that they are older it is more mentally exhausting. When they were little I remember always being on my feet chasing after them. Now that they are older you worry about grade point averages, playing time in sports and what friends they choose.

One thing I have to say has been fun is experiencing Disney with them through the years. It started with character breakfasts and autographs which eventually led to pin trading and hidden Mickeys. You have lots of good times ahead of you and I can't wait to hear all about them.

Great pics! Your boys just get cuter and cuter with every photo!

Glad you had a nice time. We hope to catch up with the show next year when it comes around again.

I am sitting here today not feeling well and decided to take a look at our DVC points for 2009/2010 and what we were going to plan! Well Bryan and I decided to try and plan a Christmas trip for Christmas of 2010! Most of you know that we sort of surprised the boys last year on Easter with a 28 day countdown calendar. Well, I have ALWAYS wanted to surprise them and leave in the same day... but Bryan always said that they have been often enough that they probably won't react the way I want them too:rolleyes: WELL, I found this post today, and now I know they WOULD be floored! Enjoy the link...it brought tears to my eyes!

Hey Diane

That video was awesome. I think you should go for it, too

Hey....did your kids have school today? I really thought we would just get a 2 hr delay, so was shocked when I got phone call this morning that school was closed

:cool1:

Our main road are fine, but my side street is a mess

so I took day off too:upsidedow

Ha ha! That was great!!!!

DO you think you'll stay through Christmas Day?

Yes, it was nice to have a leisurely start to the day!:thumbsup2 You would never know it even snowed that much ...it is almost all gone now!:sad2:

Ha ha! That was great!!!!

Wasn't that so GREAT!! Yes, we would be there on Christmas day, probably coming home on the 27th! We are blessed to live VERY close to our families and see them all the time, heck we even go to the same church so not seeing them on Christmas just for one year would be fine plus the boys will be almost 11 and 9 by then. WOW that seems hard to believe!:goodvibes

I tried watching the video yesterday, but couldn't get it to work. Today I see they added a youtube link (maybe it was there yesterday and I'm just a dummy) and I just watched it. That was so cool. :goodvibes Much better than when we told our boys we were leaving a day early on our last trip! :lmao:

Just thought I would share a funny little story! Ever since I found the DIS before our 2007 trip I had always heard of these mysterious "pin code" offers! Ooooh would I have LOVED one of those:goodvibes I registered on everything I could register for and I signed up for all sorts of Disney sites and alas not ONE single pin code EVER! It didn't deter us from traveling to WDW though and we continued to contribute to the cash cow that is WDW! Well I just opened my e-mail and to what do my wondering eyes should appear not one but TWO pin codes!! :faint: I guess I had to fork over the really BIG BUCKS for DVC for pin code consideration!!:rotfl2: :rotfl: :lmao:

Have a GREAT night!!:thumbsup2

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't believe that!!! I assume you won't be using them? How good are they? I STILL haven't had one!!!! I've given up : )
Lesley
