Diane, I hope all goes well with your ADR's, I will be paying extra special attention now because just one hour ago, I booked,

9 DAYS AND 8 NIGHTS IN JULY!!!!!!


I can't believe I just did it but I took advantage of the buy 4 get 3 deal and it was super cheap to stay in a value.. food, tickets room, transfers,etc.. $2400 with insurance.. (just in case.) My daughter was going down with a friend for a diabetic convention that week and I wanted to take my son so I booked it. After last summers trip when Jenna hurt her knee I felt guilty not taking Lucas since I feel he kinda missed out on some stuff pushing her around in that wheelchair! My husband gave me the thumbs up so (without him of course! )

Can't wait to hear how you do with the new system. Good Luck!

I am beyond frustrated! I just spent 45 minutes typing an update and LOST IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


Anyway! I woke up at 6:15 this morning, I just couldn't sleep! I took a shower, made some coffee and sat down at the kitchen table with my laptop and all my lists to browse the DIS for a few minutes before I called! I was shocked that the boards were still down (and were almost all day)! I yurned my iphone on and turned on the world clock app and at exactly 6:59am, I began dialing Disney Dining...I got through right away and followed the shortcut thru the prompts that I got from another website. My call was answered IMMEDIATELY! I almost choked on my coffee because I was expecting to be on hold for awhile!! A seeemingly nice CM answered and asked me for my reservation #, number of people in my party, ages of my kids and whether or not we were on the dining plan. Then she asked me for my first ADR I am looking for. I had made a list in ranked order of hardest ADR to get on downward. So my first ADR up was LeCellier on 6/22.....well if you remember our first night is a cash ressie 1 night only. So the CM tells me she can't book 6/22 because it is outside of my stay! I politely explain that I have read of other guests being able to do this because they have several reservations linked together. This is when she tells me "Well I am new, this is my 1st day taking live calls" ARE YOU KIDDING ME! So I immediately ask her if I can speak to a supervisor! I had been on the phone for 10 minutes already with NO ADR'S MADE! Within a minute or 2 a manager/ supervisor picks up! His name was Duncan and he ROCKED!! He was able to move smoothly through everything. We booked 8 ADR'S at a time and then went back and got the confirmation #'s andthen continued again! The only MAJOR glitch was with our 6/30 Hoop Dee Doo Revue...because of our cash only/room only ressie for our 1st night, the computer was asking for me to pay IN FULL for HDDR instead of just putting a credit card hold on it whileusing the dining plan. At the end of making our ADR'S Duncan put me on hold for about 10-12 minutes to find out if he could go ahead and process HDDR anyway. Turns out he can't BUT he did take my # and told me he would CALL ME tomorrow morning and finish booking that for me but is "holding" it overnight! How is that for service!

OMG I can't believe you got a CM on their first day . Well the supervisor sounds like he did and excellent job , 8 ressies at once. I never had a CM do another ressie unitl they read there long list of prompts and then give me a confirmation number. Your ADR's look great! Glad to hera you were able to get Sci Fi ( not available that is crazy) and Le Cellier. California Grill is my most favorite restaurant in Disney!

Keeping form with his EXCELLENT service yesterday, Duncan called me this morning EXACTLY when he said he would! I got HDDR with no problems and he booked my next days ADR'S while we were on the phone....so I didn't have to call and wait!
