Well, I was able to use all our holding points!

We were to have a Family get together in HH over the 4th of July. Life changed...booked fewer days and a smaller villa for Labor Day time...that was cancelled last minute (why can't we all get along?) points changed to holding points, a bit more than 100.....well today I used the remaining 5, so did not lose any!

I had never had holding points before...was able to change some short stays from studio to 1 bedroom, including a BCV stay. Today I booked a VB room for a night before a DCL cruise out of Miami.

Yeah, but our DVC was bought specifically for a family celebration of Mom's 85th birthday! She turns 95 this year and the celebration has to be in Cape May NJ since she can no longer travel. We do what we can...

I have 138 to use by March 1st. Bought a new contract and they were included. Hoping to book a stay the last week of February, but have a while to wait before we can book!

When one group were 1,2,3 we had a 4 generation WDW trip together and now they are 9,10 & 11! The other ones were not born yet when we went to WDW together, and now they are 1&2!

Glad you booked the room at WDW before the cruise. Last time I cruised for a week....I did a day before and a day after at OKW. This allowed me to repack wisely and then getting things packed on the boat wasn't exhausting.

It also was a laid back day to relax after the cruise which I really had fun on.

Yes, Jean...there are so many changes since mom was 85, but to think we will all be there to celebrate 95 is amazing! Our oldest son, Matt, and his family were not at the 85th celebration, they were celebrating the birth of their second child!! Between December 19 & January 3, we celebrate 5 birthdays!! Plus, of course Christmas, the best one of all!

Yes! Mom's birthday celebration is to be at the Lobster House! DH is sending in the order today!

CaskPeg, our last holding points are used in Vero Beach, since our January cruise leaves out of Miami. We got an ocean view room to prepare us for our view from the ship!

Congratulations on everything! I've usually been able to use my holding points too. It is nice not to have to waste points.
