We are booking Wendy's condo at WP for the first full week in December. We had a few issues that she worked out with us to everyone's satisfaction.
The most important of the issues was that of a full sized crib for our younger son. We were planning on renting one from a company in Orlando and having it delivered just prior to arrival, but we could not come to terms on how to get the crib inside the apartment without Wendy having to give out the code to the unit. After she checked out a few other options and realized what we were going to pay for the crib for a week's rental, she called me at work and told me that she had decided to BUY A FULL SIZED CRIB FOR THE CONDO.
We talked about what type to buy and the appropriate accessories, keeping in mind the safety and comfort of little guests without spending more than is necessary on extras that are not needed. She's heading down there next week and I believe she will be getting it then. So when we go in December, it will be all ready for use.
I'm so pleased that she was willing to do this in response to our issue. To be honest, it is a good business decision for her, as she might actually pick up additional family bookings because she has the crib, which she will mention on her website (complete with picture). And we save the cost of the rental and the worry that we'll have to set it up after arriving after 6 PM and get it broken down for pickup at the end of our stay. I couldn't be more thrilled.
Plus, after talking with her, we found out that we had some unusual things in common, like her grandparents lived just blocks from where I grew up. Such a small world.
She wanted me to pass on a hello from her and a thank you for saying such good things about her home and posting so favorably about her.
Thanks again.
