A little bit old for her - this was almost 2 years ago - he's 6 years older than her. And she's been with her BF for 5.5 years...... BF did take her to the Prom, too..... he sure changed his tune when that offer was made!!

She did think that Kip was VERY cute - and VERY muscular (yeah... we both kind of felt him up during the photo!! )

Good morning, all!

I got an unexpected project at work on Wednesday that kept me really really busy, since then, and I had to do some unexpected over time this we (kaching kaching). But I never caught up on sleep from my trip. Last night I plopped down on my bed at 7:30 to watch some TV, and I fell fast alseep by 8:00! Woke up at 3:30 to tired to even get up and turn out the TV and the light. I was going to just leave it on , but it was some talk show talking about bowel movements and being regular, so I made myself get up and turn off the TV.

By the way, all of my trip report is up.

I missed a whole lot of craziness here on the thread. Alan was posting all kinds of crazy pictures. Pam was feeling people up? No wait. That's a typical week in Ya Ya land.

Morning All,

Sorry I havent been on much but its been an interesting week. I kinda had a mini breakdown at church last Sunday due to a lot of stressors in my life right now and Im now in christian counseling through the church. They are actual therapists but also christians. Had our first meeting on Wednesday night and I and dh really like them a lot. We are also giving up Kids Church in order to go to a bible study together. It was mentioned that we are doing too much to serve the church and not spiritually feeding ourselves. We will still do Team Kid on Wednesdays though and our counseling sessions are right after Team Kid so that works out well. Thankfully dh and I know several people in the bible study so we wont be going in cold so to speak. It is also run by the person I confided in last Sunday. Jane the childrens ministry director also understands and totally supports us giving up Kids Church. She was there when I confided in Deena what was going on so she knows the situation. It was really hard for me to confide in anyone and actually hard for me to post this here for fear of taking heat over it.

Today is Bball games. My youngest actually got a basket last week. He was oh so excited. They are loving playing. It gets a little interesting logistically for us since their games are at different ends of the day but we do down time between games and just relax. Dh usually makes me take a nap.

Elaine I hope you have an AWESOME time on your trip. Please give Nancy a hug for me. I cant wait to see pictures of you in that dress with your hair all done and stuff. You are gonna look AWESOME.

Paula Im sorry you are having problems with Chris and smoking. I did it too as a teen and its the worst mistake I ever made. I cant tell you how many times I have tried to quit. If you want him to talk to someone who made that mistake he can talk to me. Im very serious I would be more than willing to talk to him. Just give me the word and I will PM you my cellphone number.

Pam I am so glad you are feeling better!!! Its so nice to see you back on the boards. We have missed you. What did you do to your back?

The never ending week caught up to me last night. I walked by Hot Topic yesterday and they had Princess Bride stuff. So I had to go and look. Last night, I had to watch it and the sleep inducing couch got me again. I think I fell asleep at 9:30!

Morning', all! Whew, am I ever glad this week is over!! Hope I don't have to work 5 days in a row at the store again very soon. Today, I just want to be totally lazy and veg. But my domestic goddess duties are calling, no, actually they are screaming! Sigh.......

OMG, went to the former job yesterday and sure enuff, it was a mess. Hadn't filed sales tax (due monthly) since October and I found out the guy had the nerve to tell the boss he had talked to me and I told him it was OK to put it off!!! Like I would EVER tell anybody it was OK to file a tax return late?!! Still wondering how the boss could have believed him! Boss didn't turn a hair, either, as he watched me set myself up for hourly payroll with a $2/hour raise. The good news is there is plenty of work for me to do and I should never have to cross paths with the boy genius--in fact, he hasn't even been told yet that I was asked to come back! The better news is that nice boss, who just got married last July, is gonna be a daddy next summer!! They didn't waste any time and she is 13 weeks preggo already.

At least now I know better that we need to go after the young'uns--they are the only ones who have the stamina to keep up with us!!
