Never made it to the winter wonderland. But i did get the kids dressers and closets cleaned out and organized. I also got the bedding changed and am very close to finishing the stocking. it will be done tonight!!!

elaine...why didn't you tell me how great the cd is???? I love "She dances" and the italian version of "a time for us" wow!!

LOL, sorry Tara... my favorites are "In Her Eyes" and "February Song" on this one. I do like the feel of "Machine" "Weeping" "Lullaby" and of course the one that has been playing on the radio "You Are Loved" Do you have the DVD that came with some versions of the CD?

Yep have the dvd set....my friend's astrid and susan bought the set for me.
I've listened to the dances one so much that i haven'e much attention to the rest! lol!
Stocking is finished and the geisha I've been working on is back on the loom and has about 2hours worth of work done tonight! It will take a while to finish...but I can work on it until I deicde if there will be a baby number 3 and then I start on that stocking!! hehehe that'll be a while tho!

Morning all.....guess who's working? Yup- that would be me..... I'm scheduled for tonite also but another co-worker has offered to extend her shift - thank god for a flexible group!!

Had a living room full of Alyssa's friends last night watching Jack***2.... ....I just love it when the kids have friends over!!

Jeffrey is at work - kids are sleeping - I've got lots to do today to get the house ready for tomorrow....

Morning all... a bit tired here and will have a long, but fun, day.

I'm not 100% sure I like Will Ferrell or not either, but Taladega Nights looked so funny to me. We haven't had a chance to see it yet, but it actually is on our list of ones that appeal to us.

Tara, you should listen to the rest of the CD Oh and seriously look at the album sleeve (or whatever they call it now) it truly amazed me to see how much Josh wrote and played on. It seems the more he had to do with a song, the more I like it. I was very pleased with this album for sure!

Paula, sorry you were stuck working. You sound very much like my family... we talk about how neat it is when we hear lots of kids outside or in one area playing, talking & just having fun. My dad says he loves hearing it come from the next door... they aren't nasty kids, just kids having fun and he's happy to hear that at all hours

Morning, all! Sorry I didn't make it back the other night to finish my ketchup. I just can't DIS and yack on the phone at the same time--don't know why

Store manager is on vacation till Wednesday and I found out yesterday that there were markdowns in Friday's email that didn't get done. Luckily, I had plenty of staff yesterday and they were able to get everything re-priced in about an hour! The kicker is that I read another email that said our new feature set is due on Tuesday, Jan. 2, but the front of the book they sent us with all the pictures of the set up and all says Jan 9--Jan 17. I had a feeling it was supposed to be up for more than a week!! So, I took charge yesterday and got started on all the endcap moves that need to be made and new product brought out. We will get the big display on the front tables done tomorrow, so all will be done on time for opening Tuesday. I think Sarah will be surprised and pleased when she gets back to see it completed. Of course, then we have to change it all again in 2 weeks when the Valentine feature sets on the 17th.

Headed for church and going to see Eragon this afternoon. Got the week's worth of to do, too. Can't stay up to welcome in the New Year, cuz I'm scheduled to open at the store tomorrow. Gotta be there at 9 so we are ready for the all day crop that is planned, not to mention the big feature set that has to get done. I just hope I have a few girls who aren't totally groggy and out of it, tomorrow!!

elaine...I'll check out the sleeve/book/thingie...I started to put the cd in when I went to bed but I knew I would be listening to it and not trying to sleep so I left it out! that'sj cool that he is beginning to write more and do more of the instruments.

off to stitch for abit...actually I hear Jarrod banging on his door...apparently he locked himself in...wonder how long I should leave him??

hehehe that's exactly why i did it!! I was following the thread and getting very tickled! Someone has some 'splanin to do!!

I foresee a new poster appearing in the coming days!!

Getting ready to head to bed. A nice evening spent cross stitching and relaxing. It is going to be rainy and nasty tomorrow so i see more stitching in my future!!

Happy New Year Everyone!!

I ended up not having to work 2 shifts yesterday so we went out last night - can't remember the last time we went out on New Years Eve - may even be before kids. We went to the pheasant farm where Jeffrey works - they have a game room/bar in this hugs barn - 2 big tv's lots of autographes football memoribilia - really neat - hats and niosemakers at midnight - I of course had on a tiara and silently toasted to all of you at midnight.

I'm up and working now till 1pm - family coming over at 2:00 for buffet. Tree is down - decided if the house is going to be full no need to over-clean. Have some quick cooking to do this morning - pasta - batch of brownies - salad..

Kids both went out last night and will be home for our party today.
Alyssa's godmother and her daughter came yesterday to exchange Christmas gifts....dang....as I suspected she bought me something and I only bought for her kids....so I'll have to get her an extra special birthday gift on the 14th...she gave me a beautiful 1inch circle necklace with diamond chips and matching earrings - it is so pretty.
