*Lainey runs up and gives Betty a big hug*

Of course not m'dear! We pretty much welcome everyone! I mean if they let me stay.... anyone can ;) You have been missed around here. Fill us in on how all is going with you and the family :)

Johnny Depp and tasty? Who'd have thunked :faint: :duck:

Of course, Betty! How the heck are ya?

And good morning y'all. :wave2:

Hi Betty!! Sure, we'd love to have you hang out here for awhile. :)

Elaine, its really foggy here, too. Kinda eerie. :scared1: Pics were great. :thumbsup2

Amanda, I usually go to bed around 10'ish. I did fall asleep around 7:30, and slept until almost 8:15. I just was really tired for some reason.

Friend just called, she got free tickets for the Def Leppard/Journey concert tonight! Yippee!!! :hippie: :teeth:

:wave2: Betty, funny you should show up. ELaine mentioned you when I saw her last week. Were your ears burning? :dance3: LOL Welcome back!

Hey Lainey......any problems w/Luis let me know! I'll take care of it for ya'!

:wave2: Sherry, Alan and whomever pops in next!

DW Sue survivied as precinct captain at yesterday's election. It was her first (and possibly last) time working the polls. Her numbers added up (ballots in - ballots cast = ballots left), but she had to stay and help a couple of the ladies who were taking signatures rectify their numbers. She was home 2 hours after the poll officially closed. I guess that in one of the other precincts, there were 50 people in line when the polls closed. And they had to wait for all of them to vote before they could tally the results. Yikes.

Just wanted to drop by and say "hi". Loved the MNSSHP photos Elaine, especially the smiley face firework.

Betty....nice to see you!

Elaine...no final plans. We hope to join up with Tara and Suzanne as some point. Other than that we are just going to enjoy the time and take it easy. I know I want to try a different restaurant than Mexico while in Epcot. I figure I will let Todd and the girls eat then grab something for myself as we walk or during fireworks.

Back to work.....

:lmao: my favorite!!!!!

good morning gang...15 days 43 minutes and 27 seconds...but who's counting??? :lmao:

tara

Thanks for the hug Elaine....it was great seeing you this past weekend!!!

Alan - I have been fine. The 2 kids are off to college but will be home for break in around 3 weeks

Sherry - it is good seeing you here after all these years. How is your family?

Rose Mary - have a great time at the Journey concert. Oh the memories of the 70's and 80's

John - that is so patriotic of Sue to work the polls. But I am sure it was a long day. Did she work the entire time? Did they give you a break during the day?

believe - sorry I can't remember your name, just Todd's name. But I am thinking it is Amanda or something close to that. Please forgive my memory. So it sounds like you are going to WDW soon. I hope you have a good time.

Tara - how have you been?

Well, we just got back from WDW and now I am catching up on laundry and mail. We had a great time. Rose Mary, my ears are always ringing....haven't you heard I am such a little trouble maker.....well, I am if I am with Elaine. But Elaine and I have fun so who cares!!!! Hopefully, next time I can meet up with you also. We didn't get to WDW until Friday around noon and left Monday night. It was just for a long weekend.

Darn Betty, sorry I missed ya by a couple days. Hope ya had fun, I sure did. AND I wouldn't know about memories from the 70's & 80's :rolleyes1 :teeth:

NO COMMENT Alan!!!!!

Oh, like I'm the only resident smart aleck around here.

If you don't remember the 70's and 80's then you were probably having too good of a time. :lmao:

Hi all....

Back from the photographers - below is the link to the 2 pics I chose - the first one is for 8x10's the 2nd pic is for wallets. Please excuse the "flash" - that's my error.

 Hi Betty!!!
Rosemary - Journey.. :thumbsup2 how cool is that!! Enjoy!
Amanda - Alyssa wants to see flushed away too - myself - I'm waiting for "Happy Feet"
Elaine - I don't imagine you'll get fired too soon...

Speaking of working at the polls - Chris had to deliver to all the polling spots last night but since the orders were pre-paid by the town he got no tips....poor kid!!!! Sheesh!

And speaking of getting fired....can someone please tell me why someone would ask for your suggestion if they already have their own idea in mind and when you reply differently they jump all over you??? (I think the response they wanted from me is "the only way to resolve this problem is fire all of us (and then maybe hire drones who will meveer make mistakes)'

Sorry for that vent - just feling like my efforts are in vain....

Hugs all around.....more later....

Paula the pictures are really good. He is quite a handsome boy! :) I wish I could help explain the way people are and why they do the things they do but I can't. Sometimes there just is no explanation. Hang in there and try to not take it personally.

Rose Mary - I have read about the 70's and 80's in history books........NOT!!! :rotfl:

Alan - It has been rumored that you are an angel.....not a hellian like me :Pinkbounc

Off to try and catchup with my checkbook.... :badpc:

She got a one hour break for lunch. But she arrived 45 minutes early at 5:15AM and put in a 16 hour day. I guess that it beats jury duty (not that there is any connection between poll duty and jury duty).

Betty--Long time no see.. :wave2: Sounds like there were a fair amount of ya yas in Disney at once.. :thumbsup2

Paula--nice pics..the dog & cat pic was too cute

Rosemary--Cool!! Def Leppard..Seen them awhile ago..really like'em..

tara--Good to see you in a better mood...:duck:

Elaine-- :thumbsup2 like the pics...nice camera..

Glad y'all are liking the pics. Luis took most of them. I think more than half of the firework shots were mine though. He just didn't figure out how to do those right.

Sherry, the last time I was that tired I found out I was pregnant :p
:duck:

Lucky you Rose Mary! Enjoy that concert! Oh and if Luis misbehaves, I'll send him your way ;)

John, that is admirable what Sue did. I know that most of the people at my location were HS kids who were able to get out of class to do it ;) I haven't looked at that pic that you mentioned, but I sure remember taking it! I still have lots of those to caption.

Amanda, I like having little plans. Makes my trip a lot more relaxing for me!

LOL, Tara! Now I know for sure *that* was one of Luis' I didn't even go to AK this time.

Betty, you a trouble maker? I never would have thought of you as one. Then again you corrupted me and took that pic of me with the bottle of Asti ;) You are right, I always have a blast with you at WDW though!

Grrr. Imagestation is being stupid so I can only see one pic. I'll try again in a minute. But he looks great on the first one!

Alan an angel? :rotfl:
Now *that* is funny!

Crap, I just saw the time... Hi Todd :wave2:

TW could be here any minute to do the phones!

Nice pics, Paula. ::yes::

Wow, Sue did indeed do her patriotic duty!

Okay, I have to share this one:

When I was in college I went out with a girl from Mississippi. She was embarassed when the waitress brought her a bottle of wine that she didn't order.

The waitress looked at her pad and said "You asked for Asti"

My date said "No, I asked for iced tea!"

Aren't accents fun? :teeth:

:lmao: :lmao: That's like when I was in NC and a girl came to me and told me she was having a "Jury" party. :confused3 It took me until she showed me the catalog to realize she was having a "Jewlery" party :lmao:

Okay, I've been looking at all the wdw pics (all of Elaine/Luis' and about 1/3 of Dave's 12 million!! :rotfl: ) and I want to go right now!! I don't even want to sit here and do my grades or write the 2 page paper that is due by midnight tonight! (did I tell you i'm taking a class this month? )

Todd :duck: I am feeling better. The new meds are helping and Jarrod has settled down for a bit. So things are looking a little better. Oh, and I didn't get fired today! :teeth:

oh and I have big mommy news.....no not that :teeth: (not now anyway)!! Jarrod came home from school today with his first lost tooth!!!so the tooth fairy has to come tonight!! woohoo!! Now I gotta figure out what the going rate is for the tooth fairy!

Okay, off to compute grades. Back later!
