Morning!

Y'all were mothy!

Liz, my thoughts and prayers are with you, Greg, and Barkley. :(

Betty, sorry to hear DD isn't feeling well. How sweet of you to go get her. You have a VW convertible? I would love to have one some day. :teeth: Family is good, thanks. :)

Tara, yay on Jarrods first lost tooth. TF gave $1 here. Believe it or not, Julian lost a couple more teeth a few months ago, at age 10.

John, good for Sue for helping out at the polls. I'm sure that was an exhausting day.

Amanda, take me to the World with you!! :bounce: ;) LOL at the TF story.

Alan, :lmao: at the accent story!

Suzanne, how was your night out? I've never been to the Melting Pot. Never even heard of it until y'all started talking about it.

Beth, good luck at the dentist.

Paula, love the pics. What a handsome young man Chris is. :)

Rose Mary, sounds like a fun concert. We want details!

Elaine, hope the phone works out for you. I'm with you......can't fire Junior or I'd lose my salary! :lmao:

Junior and I are going to a special screening tonight to see The Nativity Story.

Morning all.

Melting Pot was yummy. The main fondue was a mojo style, and I'd wanted to try that for a while-definitely have to do that one at home (y'all know we have three fondue pots, right?). The dessert fondue was cookies and cream-OMG. so good, ridiculously easy, and perhaps I should bring the fondue pot over to any visiting YaYas DVC accommodations so we can have this, lol. Asti optional. :rotfl2:

Alan, well MY teeth aren't falling out-not many left to do that (small jaw, had to have 12 yanked!). Night out was good, thank you. Sangria helped! :thumbsup2

Betty, I'm doing better. Enough so that I was visiting new employer's website to price the desk I saw in the store the other day. :teeth: I called the old boss to apologize for not giving her a heads up on the reference check, only to find that they didn't call her. However, she's interested in following me to new employer (SHHHHHH, Bethie, if you go in there!!!!!)

Just about done uploading a pile of cd's to iTunes and then I'm making a mix for my group tonight. This bunch of ladies was there opening night, they're so awesome. One has a b'day, and she's getting a cake (I'm trying a hawaiian wedding cake on them). Got out all the boogying tunes I could find in the cd library.

Can someone explain to me how the hubby can already have 45 gig uploaded to his iPod in a month and I've had mine almost a year and I've only got 12? :rotfl:

Yep, I'm in a good place about the job today. However, I haven't gone to work yet to have someone say something so sweet that I cry! I've been jumping around the website to bone up on stuff-and I'll probably do some virtual shopping on the sister site soon. They've got several things I've wanted, but balked at paying full price.

The things you learn from the Y'all-Y'alls

Fer instance, I was not aware of BaB until I came here and y'all forced me to purchase 4 - one for each family member ;)

And then the girls created 2 more at a party of a knock off version.

BTW, out of those 6 critters - mine is the only bear in the whole bunch :rotfl:

Ooops! Forgot some stuff, then found everyone that sneated!

Amanda, Le Cellier is in Canada. Fantastic steaks (best burger on property, IMO), great salmon and really good soup and breadsticks. Kids dessert is so cute, you'll want one, too. A chocolate 'moose'.

Biergarten is in Germany. Tables are set up for communal dining. Some people don't like it, but I've never had a problem. Once we got newbies and were able to share what we knew of WDW. Traditional german food, served buffet style and an OoomPah band plays every hour. The kids love to go down and dance-and load up on brats and sauerbraten.

Chefs de France-well, you can figure that one out. You'll find kids there, but it's one of the more pricey places, so I don't recommend it if the girls eat like birds.

(there's only two world showcase restaurants we haven't had, and one is not getting my money, lol! Why get chinese there when I can get fantastic stuff for much less and be at home?)

Sherry, up until 2 years ago, I'd never been, but it made sense that we'd like it-we make fondue a lot! The boys LOVE it. Have fun with Junior tonight-that sounds like a neat show.

Rosemary, so the concert was REALLY LOUD, eh? Here's some Aleve for you...

Todd, yeah, I was informed of this when Neil got his first tooth at 3 months-Ed's mom said, yeah, they come in early, they get three sets. It's always interesting to see what comes from what side. Neil's got my hair and his dad's teeth, Kevin's the opposite. So he'll be bald and have to have teeth taken out, and Neil will have tons of hair and teeth! :rotfl:

I really need to go. If I wait too long to get to the dealer, my lunch plans will fall through. The line at that BBQ joint get reallllllllllllly long!

Suzanne

Monring gang,

Well the Tooth Fairy left $2 last night. She will probably leave only a $1 for the rest of them! I was awakened at 6 am with him screeching about how much money he was given by the TF. So I'm with RM and the :headache:

Liz...I'm so sorry for Barkley...good luck to you all

Suzanne...glad you are feeling better about the move!!

I have a boat load of stuff to do today so I'm going to try and get it done. Today is a teacher workday so i really should be planning and working!! hehehe yeah right!!!

Back later,
tara

Good Morning John and Rose Mary :wave2:

Todd - I am always innocent...especially if mischeif is happening...Darn, I don't even know how to spell that word....so I have to be innocent ;)

Sherry - the convertible was my splurge once both kids were in college. I mean I didn't have to worry about a car seat, toys, port a cribs, how many friends can fit in, or if this is safe for a teen to drive. All I had to worry about was me....and having fun!!!! I have only had it for a month or so but I put down the top every chance I get which hasn't been much here in southern Ohio. :sad1:

Paula - We have an electric fondue here so we can do the oil/chicken broth for the main entree and then I use a crockette for appetizer/cheese and dessert/chocolate fondues. My family loves it. I love Melting Pot because you can just sit back and talk and talk while everything is cooking. It is a great family spot but it is on the expensive side so we do it for special occasions. I have an Ipod also. Aren't they the greatest little gadgets.....I have the mini and can only get like 4G but I have more than that in my library. Adding music to it is addicting, so I find myself adding and subtracting with my moods. Yesterday I added my Christmas and took off my Disney and some rock n roll to make room. Letting go of Disney was sad :sad2: but I had to do it. So what kind of job are you leaving and going to? Sorry, I have been absent for a while and am not caught up yet.

Got to run to lunch to celebrate November birthday's with the girls. My 50th is coming up soon and then off to get DD. Talk to you later. :wave2:

I am so sorry, I mentioned Paula in my post and it was Suzanne......bad Betty :confused3

OK, so 2 of you sneat in while I am typing.....

Alan - This thread is filled with a wealth of knowledge....you never know what you will learn here

Tara - Glad the Tooth Fairy made another little toothless boy happy

Now I really need to get going. I need to smell pretty and look good for lunch......

Betty,

Isn't the beetle fun? I love mine, however, it is a bit annoying that my color is hard to find when one has to touch up a key scratch!

I'm going to a home furnishings place-I can PM if you want more specific, lol. After someone at Disney 'tattled' about what I'd posted here about moving a few years ago, I'm not naming names. Irony there is that the snarky person thought I'd get in trouble, but the DM already knew! HaHa-it pays to not keep many secrets about yourself.

Alan, I think Ed puts the want of an iPod squarely at the yaya's feet. You got off cheaper with BaBs! :teeth: Mine was supposed to help me with taking a daily walk, hasn't happened yet!

Yeah, about the iPod-well over a thousand cd's here between the two of us and I'm just too darn lazy to load the stuff I want on it. I'm lucky he got me the 30 gig. Once the Christmas music goes on, it may be full.

:sad1:

Stupid old POS computer... crashed when I tried to submit my post

Liz, I am sorry about Barko... my thoughts are with you both today

I had a lot said about food at WS. We hated Biergarten, but loved Marrakesh, Rose and Crown, Italy, and Le Cellier. We didn't think Le Cellier had the best steak or burgers though. Raglan Road's steak was far better and Beaches and Cream's burger blew away Le Cellier. Obviously Le Cellier has a good atmosphere, but we aren't as drawn to it as others. Much prefer Rose & Crown to them. Haven't tried Mexico (hate Mexican), China (too $$$) and France (not fond of French food). The rest I've all been to.

Not in the mood to type anything else... this just hasn't been the best day for me.

Close to 30 gigs of Christmas music? You're my kind of gal. :thumbsup2

Alan, you need to see the Christmas CD library-it's an obsession here! Ed's prized possesion is the Rotary Connection Christmas CD, meanwhile I'm happy with all the rest of it. Suppose I should remind him of that before he fills all 80 on his :rotfl:

Suzanne

Sherry...I would love to take you. I have convinced Todd to drive our van, so meet us down here and he can drive the rest of the way. You would have to sleep between 2 little girls, but with 4 boys of your own I don't think that would be a problem. Tell Junior he has the boys for the week. :rotfl2:

Todd sent me is Christmas wish list....lets just say I didn't know I had a son. :rotfl: He truly is a kid at heart....one of the reasons I married him.

Betty...pixie dust to your daughter.

Okay..too much restaurant info. Guess I'll need to try them all. :woohoo:

Hey dear,
Do you want to see the 2 radios I like too? :rolleyes1 The prices are reduced..I also wanted to tell youi purchased some more camcorder tapes The had 1 left on ecost & I thought it better to be safe than sorry..hate that shipping cost though.. :furious:

Sherry-- :wave2:

Suzanne--Gotta remember..I'm a very picky eater.. :rolleyes1 ..you have a lot of music

Betty--get that convertible out today & tomorrow :thumbsup2 .

Elaine-- :thumbsup2

Tara--:duck:..good to see ya

Y'all have a great weekend. I am off work tomorrow but the girls are in school.

That would normally be a good thing, but they want the parents to come to school.

They don't get out for Veteran's Day, but they don't have school work either.

There will be a special one hour chapel with a guest speaker concerning veterans and all veteran guests will be recognized. (Which is a very good thing)

Then they will work on a service project - in Lela's case, it is a class project of writing letters to any Iraqi soldier who is not receiving many. I assume there is a clearinghouse that handles this.

Then all the kids will have a field day with competition between three teams - red, white, and blue.

And finally, we will all have a picnic lunch.

I guess it doesn't sound that bad after all.

See ya later, folks!
