Hello.

Didn't get much done today-but we did put up the tent. Still happy about that deal, now that we see how big the darn thing is. Who wants to come camping with us? There's room in there for 3 or 4 more yayas!

I learned my lesson-I should not open threads from someone I usually don't bother reading! I opened one and had to revise my post to not be extremely snarky and still came off too snarky for some. Oh well, back to mental ignore.

Tara, I get the impression that everyone is out and about today. Hope Bethie got the day off to spend with John and Sue!

Weeeeellllllll.......not exactly......I called in sick and got some WDW "training" in today! Got a new knee brace and it enabled me to do more walking (and hill-climbing!) than I've done since last December. Here we are at the end of an all-too-short, but fun visit. Sue's not in the pic cuz she's behind the camera. ;)

We enjoyed seeing some lovely historical homes, lots of great crafts and crafters, and even some Revolutionary and Civil War re-enactors. I mentally spent at least $1,000, but all I actually brought home with me was a jar of homemade apple butter. I really, really wanted this stuffed elf, but he cost $435. Gonna hafta save my pennies for that one!! He had such adorable whiskers and little "granny" glasses and shoes with the turned up toes and everything! Sigh......

So now we're home, trying to keep our eyes open long enough to finish a load of laundry--Dave needs socks! Couple of tired puppies, here, that's for sure. Gonna go find that pillow just as soon as the dryer is done. G'night, all!! Catch ya'll tomorrow :grouphug:

Feeling kind of lousy today. Kitten is on my lap purring as I type. I am not sure how Gwenie is. We take the kitten to the vet adn then we try the adjustment. I hope that goes well.

Suzanne, I was just reading that thread. I totally agree with how you were. Some people are blind "worshipers" of some. I totally do not get it.
As for the uniforms, we had lining in them. I would've died in wool uniforms otherwise!
Oh go for the king!!! We love ours!

Pam, I don't see how blue is any better than green. They are equal on the color scale IMO. Though green used to be the big color for a lot of the British sporty cars ::yes::

Yuck on the migraine, Tara. As for football, I do blame the marching band. I learned to actually like to watch the game. We watch a lot of college FB and some NFL as well.

Bethie sneated! Great pic there! I am so glad you got to see John! And wow, you did better than I could have there! Good luck finishing the laundry.

glad to see everyone is having a good weekend. Went to red lobster for dinner...I wanted to show mom how much I appreciate that she kept Ethan all weekend.

I'm going to school tomorrow ready for a great day. No fits, no tantrums, no cops...although i do have my SRO programed into my phone so all I have to show the kid is my phone with "officer W" and that should shut him up! :rotfl:

good night all!

Page 3!

Morning!

Had a nice day yesterday. Went to bed at midnight, though, so now I am dragging. :(

Suzanne, DH wants a king size. Apparently I am a bed hog. :lmao:

Elaine, good luck with kitty. We watch Buckeyes & Browns football here. That's about it. :teeth:

Tara, how nice of you to take Mom out. :) Hope the headache is better.

Beth, glad you got to meet up with John & Sue. :) Great pic.

Pam, football in December? :faint: I would definitely freeze then!! I would take the green over the blue, too. :teeth:

Well, time to get the boys moving!!

Sherry-- :wave2: I had American Pie Band Camp in my hand when I was at the library but didn't get it. I have to return the English Patient today & maybe I'll get the American Pie series when I'm there..Or Napoleon Dynamite...lol..I can't wait to watch my Monday Night shows tomorrow..The Class, How I met your mother, Two & 1/2 men, & the New Adventures of Old Christine...lol

Tara--Red Lobster..?..Yum..haven't eaten there in forever..officer W...lol

Elaine--:duck:

Beth--nice pic of you Dave & John...where was that at? Boss at work went to a civil war reenactment in KY somewhere

Suzanne--how big is your tent? We hope to go camping this weekend if the lows AREN'T in the 30's...brrr...We're heading up Elaine's directions..sorta..(NORTHEAST) to Hocking Hill....

Pam--roadkill scrapping session.. :rotfl2: ..Emerald green is bad? Ne-va...I think that would be a great color...I loved the color of my pickup..It was Teal green...

Hi Kimmar!!

Todd, why am I not surprised that you watch NA of Old Christine? :rolleyes1 :teeth:
Napoleon is soooo funny! Love that movie!!

quick hi here... tired and want to nap. I had a lot of errand running this morning to do, in addition to taking the kitten to the vet.

I'll ketchup later, but it is official... we have a girl and her name is Leia :)

["....Lay-y-y-yla, ya got me on my knees,
Layla;
I'm betting dahlin' please, Layla....."]

huh??!?!? What??!?! Leia??!?!?............ ooooops, never mind....... :confused3

LOL, Kimmar... think Princess Leia from Star Wars. I had a friend named Laila though... she hated that song :p

Tara, how was today? I hope a lot better than last week! I haven't been to a Red Lobster in ages though. Of course me not liking sea food might have something to do with it :p

Sherry, I hope you found time to take it easy today. We were both up late here as well and was kind of dragging along too. Now I have a wee one on my chest sleeping :)

Todd, you picked the English Patient over American Pie? :teeth: Okay the thought of returning one for the other just made me smile. English Patient never seemed to be my cup of tea ;)

I should probably put this little one down for a while and get something done :wave2:

I am sooo tired. Blech! That will teach me to go to bed late during the week. :rolleyes1

Aww, Leia. What a cute name. :)

And here I thought you were describing me. :rotfl2:

We had the most excellent day at Waterford. It was great to be able to spend it with Beth and Dave. And there must be magic in that brace because we certainly climbed a mountain to see that elf. The weather could not have been more perfect. What a great day to be outside. I think we'll be back next year, perhaps this time for the whole three days of the fair.

Just a quick pop in to let you all know that it was a good day...no cops, no handcuffs, and no screaming children (okay there was one who decided to cry because he was the last person in line and next thing I know there are spit bubles and snot bubbles everywhere  Not my idea of a fun time!! heheheh)

Headed to bowling right now. I'll stop by and say hi tonight!!

 Well, yes John, you DO have "adorable" whiskers, but I must have missed the turned up toes on your shoes!

YAY for a reasonably quiet day, Tara!! Have a great night at bowling. YUM on the dinner at Red Lobster!!

Leia, how sweet! Wanna see a picture, although I think you posted one awhile ago.......I can only conjur up that precious little Harley kitty of Paula's in my feeble brain. How're Gwennie and Cleo reacting to the new addition?

Sherry, you should be able to get a decent night's sleep tonight. Dave tells me it's Baltimore vs. Denver in Denver with a chance of snow! I'm sure you don't want to see THAT!! Sweet dreams!

Finishing up :laundy: tonight and watching TV. Tomorrow is another day! Mad, mad love all around and extra to those I didn't address personally. Didn't mean to ignore yas :grouphug:

Hi y'all.. busy day. I do have more kitten pics, but not uploaded yet. Cleo is fine with the kitten but more or less wants nothing to do with her. Gwen and Leia are downstairs now getting to know each other. No growling yet... only chirpy mews... no running and hiding. I am feeling good about this. We'll see how they are in the morning.

The reason why we call her Leia is that she sort of still has Yoda like ears. So Alan, I am no a SW Geek (not that there is anything wrong with it, I'm just not qualified), I just couldn't pass up the name Leia due to the Yoda ears. And no, Yoda was not an acceptable name :p

Sherry, hope you rested well!

John, you'll have to give me more warning on that craft fair. It would be a good excuse to get out of the house while in the DC area.

Woo hoo for the good day Tara (well mostly good day). Was bowling as good for ya?

Bethie, just remember in less than 3 weeks you can slow down and take it easy. Join us touring too if Dave begins to wear you out ;) I think I got all your questions about Leia... if I missed one, le me know :teeth:

Not tired yet, but should quit tying so much since Luis is sleeping :wave2:

Morning!

I slept like a baby last night. :bounce:

Elaine, glad all the kitties are getting along so far. :)

Beth, snow? No way!! They are predicting a rain/snow mix on Friday for us. :(

Tara, glad you had a fairly good day. Hope you did good at bowling.

Morning.

Quick stop in before we head out for the day.

I did have a good night at bowling...had a 150, 162, and a 120 My team won all 3 games and total pins so we are in the lead still. We were playing the number two team and we were two games ahead of them before last night, now we are 6 games. Not sure who is in 2nd place right now. Chris said his team is duking it out for last place :rotfl:

Sorry, this isn't a catchup. I'll try to get to one of thsoe this afternoon.
