Good morning, Ya Ya family! Beautiful today and the forecast is finally below 90º for the first time in nearly 3 weeks. Hoping this "cool front" lasts awhile, I've been feeling rather wilted in the heat.

Hey Karen!! So exciting to be furniture shopping and decorating your new place! I've always admired the stenciling I've seen, can't wait to see what you come up with. Always been a wood lover, too, but I am REALLY liking the white cabinets. Make the kitchen seem so much more open.

Hi all, very busy yaya here. Unfortunately, my very busy isn't getting my house decorated, like Tara's, but is filling freezers all over the area!

Last I checked, I've got 30 hours in and it's only Wednesday. I can stop to breathe on Sunday. Car still in the shop, Kev's still sick and I'm glad I can veg for a while tomorrow.

Thanks for the heads up, Alan. Good way to support a good cause-I think I see a chocolate covered cherry blizzard in my day tomorrow, woohoo.

Tara, please tell me that's the last room change you'll make for a long time! On the other, where's that smiley banging it's head against the wall when you need it?! I choose D. all of the above on that front

no time to stay long, I read really quickly this morning an dsaw Elaine had asked me again when school strted and I realized that I have not answered this yet!!

School starts for me on Aug. 25th. I have to be back that whole day and then the following week is our teacher workday and then students arrive the day after labor day!!

We've got a massively busy evening tomorrow...free tickets to an old time show (Sabrina) at one of our downtown theaters and a behind the scenes tour of the other theater. Hmmmm, wonder how to fit in a blizzard. There Must be a way! Maybe a blizzard for dinner, that would work, yeah it would work...

Stress level reduced: Just got back from sittin' and chatting with DH. We were having a cuppa at Starbucks. We were talking of the airfare that we paid a gianormous amount for our October trip back when we booked in June and how January's trip amount was what we were used to paying. I mentioned that I learned some "smart shopping" from my DIS friends and maybe we should call to see if we could get a price adjustment. Oh yeah! It was worth the 1/2 hour on the phone to cut a better deal. It makes the whole thing much more palatable. Whew!

With any luck we are off to the beach this evening to meet up with my folks, my bro and his wife. Still a lot to do to get ready. Various ills have kept us down this week and I still do not know when my van will get out of the body shop.

Oh and you had asked about my kid's school too They begin on Monday. YAH HOO!!!! (to quote Mrs. AA)
