Hi y'all... been getting some server busy errors again today.

Not sure I'm in a chatty mood though... just feeling kind of blah I guess due to allergy meds. I think my dad and I are going to try to go to the fair tomorrow.

Tonight we are going out to Olive Garden.

So sorry for the EOIP, but I am to fuzzy to do anything else

BIL came and got the boys. Took them to his apt. so they can go swimming with him, SIL, and nephew. Junior is at work, and I have a nice, quiet house.

My crazy wife is outside mowing the grass this afternoon.

The last thing I did before I left for work this morning was to add the following to her TODO list:

"Stay cool"

Yikes. Sherry and Lily, you know how hot it is out there today here in NE Ohio. I just hope that Sue is staying hydrated.

Seems like the post monster is about again, and slowwwww here trying to move about yesterday too. Must be affected by the global warming.

There were electricity conservation requests here yesterday and some Greater Cleveland areas were going through rolling black outs. I hope they send us home to conserve electricity!

Hi everyone....

Sorry about being MIA - no A/C in my house and only a very tiny fan in my office so been avoiding the compuer unless I have to work.

Weekend was uneventful...baked zucchini breads on Saturday.
Lost my vaca day on Sunday due to computer upgrade that they needed my help with. Jeffrey, Alyssa, BF, another couple went quohoggin on Sunday - got enough to make a good chowder.

finally got pricing for Chris car insurance - gonna cost him $229/month!!

My dad flew home from Cleveland on Monday - he had a great time but is glad to be home....

Trying to keep cool...more later.....

Sure would be nice if your office would conserve that energy and send ya home, Lily. Maybe the office will be included in one of those rolling blackouts and you won't be able to work?

Nice that you were able to relax on your own in the pool, Sherry! Hope the rolling blackouts miss you so you can stay cool.

Zucchini bread sounds positively yummy, Paula! I haven't had any in soooo long. Sorry you missed your day of vaca, but hope you'll be able to make it up later. Ouch on Chris' car insurance!! It's tough to be a guy under 25, that's for sure.

Got an email yesterday from my sister who lives near Columbus. It seems my niece has progressed to a "professional" level and has been hired as one of the singing acts at some arts festival in Mt. Vernon in a couple of weeks!!! She'll be doing something like 8 pieces, some oldies and some show tunes, and her only accompaniement is a CD. I can't imagine being about 17 and singing alone onstage with nothing but a CD!! Whew, what a girl!! Since it is highly unlikely I'll be able to get off work and go see her, maybe some of you Ohio Ya Yas could go and cheer her on for me?

I need to get moving--got bookkeeping to get done and a mom with a brand-new baby to visit! Stay cool everyone!!

Hi y'all! I really did do my best to say hi this morning before I left and do a mini ketchup... stupid post got lost.

OG was good last night. We got back late so I didn't get online. The only reason why I can think we stopped going to OG was because the wait time there was always terrible. Only about 5 mins for us last night though.

I did get back from the fair. Just as we were leaving it seems more people were coming. It wasn't crowded at all in the morning, so we got a lot done in a short amount of time.
We had ice cream and a deep fried twinkie as well. Life is good

Alan, I saw that story about Martha Stewart's tables... I do think that she and YC would be a dangerous pair

Suzanne, sory about the car, but so glad it will be fixable under warranty. What a pain in the neck that had to have been though. Woo hoo on the non-mom jeans soon! I betcha you'll never want to go back. I just realized how much more comfortable it is not to wear something so tight at the waist

Lily, I hope you are surviving the heat. I heard many places in the state did rolling black outs yesterday. I think tomorrow we are getting rain so we are geting cooler temps after that. I say come to the fair, it was quite nice this year!

Sherry have you been able to enjoy the pool at all or has it been too hot for that?
