Hi y'all... definitely not perky enough for a real reply here...

so :wave2:

I'll check in again later!

Hi, Y'all!

I'm doing this  because I scheduled my calendar for June and July! Woohoo! :cool1: :cheer2:

A former coworker that I hadn't talked to in months called me today to offer me a job, lol. I'm not going *anywhere*. She didn't know that the DM from hell left, though.

Happy B'day to Alyssa, happy belated anniversary to Geoff and M'Cori and I suppose I have to clean some tighty whiteys for practice tomorrow.

I'll come back later-I want to go see if anyone's booked into all those sessions I put up!

LOL!!! Talk about timing--I just finished booking MY June session online--Dave is coming along this time!! You were oh, so right, about the Bourbon Pecan Salmon, too. We had it for dinner last night and have already decided that we will order 2 next time it comes up. It makes enough for 3 meals for us!! And we just figured out that we ordered 12 entrees this time and it comes out to less than $8 per meal! Sure can't eat out for that kind of money, this food is good, it's a better variety than we would come up with ourselves and it sure makes it a lot easier on us workin' folks. Suzanne, :thumbsup2 thank you soooooooo much for leading me to it!!

Best wishes and many happy returns to the birthday princess: Alyssa! Paula, are her friends surprising her with the decor?

And a gentle reminder to Beth.........Standard Issue White Undergarments are to be worn at *ALL* times.
Awwww, geez, Pammie-poo, it's so dang hot!!! (Whiiiiine) An' I just KNOW you're gonna make us practice outside, too, huh? Didja get us registered in time to lead the 4th of July parade? Oh wait! I forgot! I'm s'posed to be mad at you cuz you shot down my costume idea. I still think a couple of big red stars and some blue ribbon would make a perfect top. :p

Don't worry, Tara, I'll bring along a jug of spiked...I mean, SPICED Gatorade, just for us!! And you should know, we NEVER get to wear pink and purple. Pammie's so mean

Sherry, so glad to hear the headache was gotten rid of so quickly! Whoo-hooo for last day of school tomorrow!!!! Didja get your errands run, OK?

Hope you had a nice visit with your grandma and are now enjoying your knitting group, Laine.

Belated anniversary wishes to Geoff and M'Cori!!! Can't believe it's been a year already!! Shew!!!

Get PLENTY of rest tonight, Lily! Pam works us pretty darn hard at these practices! But, ya gotta admit, when she cracks the whip, we turn to and put on one heck of a performance! :p

Rose Mary!!!! Good to hear from you again!!!! I'm not sure who the official keeper of the calendar is, but quite a few of us will be visiting WDW during late Oct/early Nov. Hope you can manage a day or two to come play with us.

Tomorrow is the big day, here.....my day OFF!!! Yeah, I'll be doing a little bookkeeping, but there isn't much and I should get to just relax most of the day! Dave is off early and we might even take in a movie, for a change. Hope ya'll have a wonderful evening! Mad, mad love and a big :grouphug:

Yay! for Bethie! Seems like you have a great day in store tomorrow. Don't get yourself too overworked at practice. I think you have a doc excuse because of a knee issue don't you?

Or, is it that you must work harder because Pam is not letting any slack in the steppin?

You sound like a great advertisement for Suzanne's business adventure.

Suzanne, do we have one of those places you manage near me? (I have no idea what the name of your adventure is so I cannot check) I might be able to surprise my people when it is my turn to "cook."
:confused3

Elaine I hope you had a good visit. Get rested. Practice is in the a.m.

Stupid slow boards :badpc:
Everyone should be stretched out/warmed up and in full costume by 9 am! And a gentle reminder to Beth and Nancy - Standard Issue White Undergarments are to be worn at *ALL* times.
Darn, I returned to the fold too soon! Can I have a hall pass?

Happy Anniv to Geoff & M'cori! Hope it's been a wonderful 1st year. I can't believe it's been a year!

Happy B'day to Alyssa! party: Paula, that cake sounds Soooooo yummy!
Didn't someone say they needed a few extra pounds? I think I have several to spare :sad2:

Hey Sherri! Stocked up on the economy size Aleve for the summer? LOL

Elaine: hope you had a good visit with your grandma!

Suzanne: we been having a bit of rain up this way but unfortunately not enough to share. I hate to say it but, we really need a couple days of a good slow rain. I'm starting to worry about the fire situation down this way.

Oh Thank You! This is soooo much better than what I had planned.
Lily, What are you thinking?????? Now you are really in for it!

Tara Did you have a good rest at work today? Have you been to Wally World lately????? Apparently it's the latest and greatest in the dating scene. I got hit on at wally world :rotfl: I must say he was very cute and very clever.

Uh oh, started this 2 hrs ago. Better send before something crashes on me.
:wave2: to all!

Evening, it's been like watching election returns or telethon toteboards. I'm so baaaaaad.

Lily, we've got three locations, the one by Bethie and two here in Florida. Dream Dinners is the company that seems to have started the trend and Let's Dish is the one my boss says has quality like ours. If you've got either nearby, those would be my suggestions.

Bethie, I'm not a big fish eater, but that one was soo good that I made two orders of it last month. On this month's menu, I've tried the rosemary chicken (YUM) and the beef tenderloin, which was really good. If you did the pineapple chicken, I diced up the leftovers and put the chicken and pineapple on mixed greens, tossed in feta and sprinkled balsamic on top. It was close to my favorite Galley Salad at WDW. Glad you liked it enough to come back!

Stupid server is really busy-those smileys WERE a bluff to make us forget about it, lol!

Suzanne

Pam...I have to give my regrets for tomorrow. I'm too dang tired to do any kicking!!

I finished the entry way tonight. It looks wonderful. But I don't want to post pictures until I get the baseboards and quarter round up. I think we are going to skip the rosette things because they don't take the stain evenly unless you use a really light color and those aren't looking as good as I thought they would on this wall. (sorry to be boring everyone with my Tool Belt Diva junk! I'm just so dang excited that I was able to do it all!!! Doesn't take much to get me excited)

BTW...speaking of excited...RM I've never been hit on at Wally World...unless the person is 70 years old :lmao: I'll be in the world Nov 23 to dec 3 if all goes well.

Oh, I called the Doc today and got Jar's zoloft increased. He has been so bad for the last few days and this is becomign the trend. I've tried all the things the counselor has suggested and they aren't working so I thought we would try increasing his drugs. If this doesn't work then I'm upping my drgus or my drinking which ever is easier!! :teeth:

Okay, headed to bed. I'll be back tomorrow when I'm "resting" at work!! hehehehe

Morning!

Last day of school today!! :bounce: Unfortunately, I'll still have to wake up early until Friday to babysit nephew. :rolleyes1

Today is the honor roll ceremony at Jared's school, so I'll be heading over there this morning. And Jonathan gets out early today again, too. Luckily the schools are by each other.

Rose Mary, yep, gotta stock up on the Aleve for the summer. :teeth:

Beth, yes, I did get my errands done smoothly. :) Enjoy your day off. :)

Supposed to be 80 today. We got the pool all ready this weekend, so the boys will probably be swimming when they come home from school today. :)

Ahhhh, so nice not to have to wake up to the alarm, even if it is my favorite radio station. Getting ready to head out for a few errands and drop by the old job for a bit. Knee is behaving and I worked most of the day yesterday without my security crutch! It's still sore, but definitely an improvement over pre-surgery and the limp I was developing! Aaaaaand, I was able to bend it enough yesterday to get my foot propped up on the commode to finally get my toenails trimmed. I'm seriously thinking about nail polish for later this afternoon!! Haven't done THAT for 6 months.

Yep, your menus are a month ahead. We are trying the pineapple chicken this time, and your idea for the leftovers sounds terrific!! Also doing the quiches, even tho' we all know "Real Men Don't Eat Quiche" LOL!!! Dave says he'll at least try everything before turning up his nose.

Sounds like the work is progressing nicely, Tara! Sorry the rosettes didn't come out like you wanted. Maybe you could let Jarrod nail them to a piece of wood to help expend a little of his extra energy? Hope the new dosage helps, anyway. Always so frustrating when you realize nothing else is working.

Looks to me like you've already upped your drinking!! LOL!!!!

Whoo-hooo!! Look at Lily go!!! :dance3: Nice form there, girlfriend!!! :dogdance: Even the pups are getting in the act!!

Sherry, enjoy your Proud Mama time today at the honor roll ceremony! I still think you deserve an award yourself for the way you are bringing up those 4 gorgeous boys of yours. When I met them in Chicago, I was so impressed with their good manners and behavior. I'm betting Jared is not the only one doing so well in school, too. And which one was it who wanted to feed the neighbor boy who didn't have a decent lunch that one day?! You're obviously doing something right!!

Have a great day, everyone!! Pam, don't let them get overheated and I'll have lunch all set up and ready for ya'll at 1:15, OK?? And yes, I AM wearing my Standard White Issue! See ya!!! :grouphug:

:lmao: :lmao: Ya think!!! hehehe I hadn't even had anyting to drink last night either!!

good morning gang...my excuse today for lousy typing is not alcohol but my carpal tunnel wrist brace. All the working on the floor has set off my icky arms. Unfortunatley my brats...uh I mean my children have run off with my left handed one so I can only get relief on my right hand

oops...I forgot my standard issue white drawers...does this mean I go without today? :confuse3

Gotta run and pretend to work for a few minutes!! back later!!

I survived the graduation party!!!

Thank God that we don't have to do that again until 2008 when DD Sarah graduates. I'm getting too old for this. I don't recall if I mentioned this before, but it took me 8 hours (until 2:30AM) in front of a hot stove (in an air conditioned house) to cook 60 pounds of tacos. One skillet at a time. Twenty two times, to be precise. It turns out that we exactly the right amount of food....if everyone had eaten twice as much. We now have to decide what to do with 30 pounds of taco meat (6 ziplock bags full) and with all of those taco shells. We are managing to finish off the flour tortillas as we have discovered the joys of quesadillas.

We took one of the leftover 5 pounds bricks of taco meat along with 36 shells and a dozen flour tortillas and all the fixins over to the local fire station for their lunch yesterday. Our local food bank doesn't want anything perishable, so I guess we'll be eating a lot of taco salads in order to use up the leftover veggies.

We all had a most excellent time. Lots of James' friends commented that it was the best graduation party they had ever attended. We had many of our church friends drop by too. And even though it did rain Sunday evening, it didn't dampen our spirits one bit. Sarah's idea for the taco bar was a complete success.

EpcotKilterFan was at our home for most of the day helping Sue and her mom in the kitchen keeping things running smoothly. Many thanks to her for all of her help and support.

Oh yeah. And it wasn't a bad way to spend my 17th birthday (for the third time). Lots of birthday hugs for me and a group of my friends from choir even sang to me. I took yesterday off from work in order to get things around the house back in order. I needed time to decompress. I guess that Sue did too because she slept on the couch while her mom and I washed all the pots, pans, plates, and roasters that we used for the party. Try as I may to wake her up by banging those pots around, she slept soundly until the kitchen cleanup was done. Imagine that.

So I guess that it's tacos and quesadillas for dinner for the foreseeable future.

Hi y'all... I'm really not in a mood to post or anything at the moment. Just a bit upset about some things with my grandma. I just kind of don't feel like talking about it much either.

So please forgive me for taking a bit of time off. We have our door coming in tomorrow, so I need to prep some stuff too anyway.

Keep on having fun here though... it makes me smile some to read here :teeth:

 Sorry things didn't go as well with your grandma.

:dance3: :dance3: I'm practicing!!! :dance3: :dance3:

Lunch du jour....chips and white sauce from sunday and cookie dough chased by a diet coke :teeth: Nothing like a healthy lunch!! hehehehe

Elaine  Many hugs for you about your upsets with your Nana.

John, I am so glad that it all went better than expected. I thought about you a lot and hoped and sent a few prayers that it was spectacular. Smart of you to make decompression part of the next day before getting back to the grind of it all.

Beth, Yay for sleeping in! Glad to hear of the improvements there. You will be high stepping and kicking up a storm before long for certain.

Tara, oh I do hope you find your wrist equipment. Ouch.

Sherry, I hope you enjoyed Jared's honor roll ceremony. What plans do you have to keepthe young men occupied thus summer?

Beautiful day here. I'm working inside and am missing it all.

Still a beautiful day here. I'm starting to think about what I want to do when I get home. Something outside is my choice...wonder if it will be. Probably not since I've got a massive project to learn/complete with computer and pics for my brothers retirement gift.

Heeeeeeeeeeeeellllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllloooooooooooooooooooooooo in here!!!!!!! Any body home??????????????????

Nothing exciting here. Jarrod survived today without having his head ripped off.

Although his dad is getting close to having his removed  He walked in today and told my mom that I should have told him what I was going to do and he would have told me how to do it so it looked better! WTH????????? He is trying to tell me that my floor doesn't look good? Mom told him that we were putting in the wood trim and that the kitchen would be the same floor. He response was to say, "oh". Mom said he never said it looked good or he liked the color or even it sucked. Oh well, I've seen the work he and his father have done and I have to say mine looks pretty darn good!!! :rotfl: Then the dork asks Jarrod what he wants to do and when Jarrod tells him he wants to go to the park Jay tells him, "well whatever we do has to be at home because i have to .....". THEN he asks Jar what he wanted on the grill since he (dad) and PopPop were having chicken on the grill. Jarrod tells him he wants a hot dog. Jay then tells him sorry we don't have any of those. :confused3

Basically he will take jarrod home, park him in front of the tv and then he will do stuff that he wants to do. I can ignore Jarrod at home, he doesn't need to take him there and ignore him :rotfl:

Sherry, how was the ceremony?

Lily...enjoy your time outside. It will be raining by the time I get home. :(

off to check out the cb!!

tara

"Oh I wish I was an oscar meyer weiner!!! Do do do do!!"

Awww Tara, sorry... still not in a chatty mood

Though I don't know where everyone else is. I haven't seen Nancy or Paula in days!!!

I keep getting the server busy message too.

So... did Pam stiff y'all and leave ya dancing in the afternoon... mean little bugger she is ;)

Hola!

Been very busy, but wanted to say "Hey"!

Tomorrow's FIOS and new table day, and I decided to invite the in laws over for dinner, since I'll be here all day. After that, no free time until the store is open.

Bethie, forgot about that-you'll want the Argentinean Beef and the Flank steaks-YUM! I'm also partial to the Raspberry pork. Heck, it's all good!

Lainey, :grouphug: Hang in there.

Tara, well pooh on Jay! I'm sure it looks good. Hey, you wanna help me finish up my store? I could open a store with all the splints, so I should just send you mine-I've got lefty and righty cmc's for carpal!

Lily, as long as it's nice for your day off!

John, you probably won't want to see tacos for a while once you're done with them. Bummer that they didn't want to take perishables-I'd emptied out our fridge and pantry in Maryland and brought them to the county soup kitchen.

Sherry, bravo on the honor roll child!

Got curry chicken on the stove and I hear it bubbling. The beauty of moving the computers to the front room temporarily while painting.
