RM, great to have you stop by. See, the way I'm thinking is that if you have a 14 yo hanging around it is ony for a few more years. In our place it was the dance of the Mom when they turned 18. Now they are her by invitation only. I also tell them if they think they can escape by moving away, that is only a dream. They will still be required to care for the Mama. Do ya think it will happen?

Well if Suzanne thinks you are hogging all the rain I guess you should send her a sprinkle or two.

Elaine, our appointment is in the a.m. and we definitely need to be outta there kinda soon, but I'd love a drive-by...we'll see if we can.

In the scheme of my life according to the pre-thought plan I am due to retire in 3-4 years. I've always said if circumstances changed here with health issues of family that it would be sooner. The new wrench in the system is I think I am dangerously armed. I am eligible. After doing the sleep-on-it thing this weekend, I've settled some. I still need to hear what is determined at the meeting at our retirement board, but I'm probably going to give it a year and evaluate at that time. A year is not that long. I'm on the roller coaster right now.

Today my nephew is stopping by with the latest pics that I will be using for the project for my brother's retirement. After receiving these I need to figure out how to take the Power Poing thing I've got and get it put on a DVD. I'm trying to do some research about this. I know I may have to snag a program to get Power Point converted to put in movie form. I've got music I want to include too. I wonder if I will be able to learn how.

Page Three! Yikes!

I'm somewhat productive today-learned to leave the pc on. I have gained the coveted ability to do website stuff from home. Halleluiah! So I'm checking emails and booking stuff as it comes in.

Folding all the laundry so that the room can house all the office stuff while we paint. I just can't do that forever...I need frequent breaks!

I suppose it's a good thing I don't have the laptop-I'm missing lots of bookmarks and can't go and scope them out, lol! Down side is that I'm getting emails that the myspace account has messages, but I forgot the password. I ran through all of them and haven't gained access yet!

Wow, really quick here.. not much time at all... had some time with friends this afternoon before doing the house stuff. I think we're getting close to being ready for the door on Weds.

Tomorrow I will be gone all day, visiting my grandma among other things.

I know I am behind, but I will ketchup on everything on Tuesday! I have knitting tomorrow night as well so as soon as I get home from visiting my Nana, I will be fixing supper and going to knitting.

Oh ALAN!!! Just so you don't miss this. We saw Moon Pies at Cracker Barrel last night. My dad also told of a story where in a staff meeting 5 of them had moon pies and RC cola to eat... someone thought that was the best idea in the world!!!!!

hi gang,
just a quick drive by to say I'm still alive.

I spent the entire day on our entry way pulling up the floor and taking the adhesive off. We ran out of turpentine and had to use something else and it took a bit longer. did a better job but took longer


tomorrow night I sand and put down the rest of the floor.

Everyone should be stretched out/warmed up and in full costume by 9 am! And a gentle reminder to Beth and Nancy - Standard Issue White Undergarments are to be worn at *ALL* times.

I "scrapped" a Happy Birthday page for Alyssa with pics of previous birthdays.
Her 3 girlfriends are here decorating her bedroom with balloons and streamers.

Chocolate cake just came out of the oven... (I went with the Hersheys cocoa cake recipe0 and making cocoa buttercream frosting.
