I've packed. I have too much and think I need to reduce some. I hate this part. Some last minute changes have me needing to be prepared with other options. It was going to be just a shorts and swim suit trip. Now we may play a bit. I have all the choices in one bag, I just think I may slim it down some.

Well, you'll be sorry you asked
We had 7 windows to be put in. One was in the garage. Dingbat installer replaced both garage windows, so he was one window short.
So....he left one and ordered another, saying it would be in on Monday (this was a Friday).
On Monday, the head guy calls to verify that WE wanted another window I told him what really happened.
And so, no word yet.
The orginal windows did take 2 weeks, they had to be ordered, so I never believed the 3 day thing....but it has now been 2 weeks.............sooooo, that is that story

Good luck packing. I would just take it all

HI all....

Well - the college girl is home. The move went well. We had a nice quiet night last night watching TV - by that I mean none of her friends came over immedialtely as they so often do (it's not hat I don't like her friends - just want some alone time with her). No mention of the boyfriend so I have no idea what the status is there.....

*** Alyssa got her acceptance letter to the University of Rhode Island. She's been in contact with a high school friend who goes there and they are trying to room together next year. Thank goodness that is settled. You may remember me mentioning that she was applying to her boyfriend school well she did and was accepted but said she just did not like the school and did not want to go. I think that stated the tension between the 2 of them....

My mother in law's recuperation is going well - thank you for the prayers. They actually had her up and walking yesterday - she may be moving t a rehab facility today - we're going to see her tonite so I'll keep you all posted.

Going out shopping with Alyssa today and possibly getting her hair cut....she wants it short whichis something she's never had before......

Hubby signed up for Real Estate school yesterday - he's very excited!!

I am keeping my fingers crossed that Chris will pull his grades up and not have to go to summer school - my husband thinks he can get him a job surveying for the summer....

Did I mention that I will be without a car all summer??????? If I did please disregard - I'll probably be saying it at least 12,000 more times!!

Hi y'all! I had one of those busy nights that I didn't realize would happen. Went over to my dad's and then out to dinner. After dinner I wound up at a Mazda dealer to be dead weight for my BIL as he test drove the car one last time. We were there until he finished and drove us all home

Luis and I talked a bit and I think I need to try out a place that carries more petite sizes. The one I went to yesterday stopped at a size 6. I don't usually buy petites, but if the size fits, I will. Neither of us really want me to have to buy children's clothing. I just wish the Juniors department would quit it with the short and skintight crap that it has

LOL, Tara! You don't sound excited for the year to be done now do ya As for dresses, I've seen some cute ones at NY&Co as well as Ann Taylor Loft, and White|Black. Not many in department stores though.
I think Astrid definitely should skip that wedding if it is one of those rebound ones. Tell her that she'll just catch the next one

Kimmie, I heard the ultra ultra low jeans are going out, but the **** ones are seemingly disappearing as well. Apparently somewhere in between is what they think will stick. I won't hate that. If they get too tall though, I'll just pray my jeans hold out.
Here's a big I am so sorry that things are so bad for the kitty. I know you will do what is best, but I do know it is rough.

Sherry, good luck finding a good skort too. I think they are the best invention in the world. I like them more than real skirts too. I think we might try for a few for me this weekend.

Nancy, the carpet sounds lovely. Just sorry it will mess up the week so much. And the window situation... yuck on that. As for skorts here, I found a ton in the misses department at Kohl's. I don't know if you have them, but there were a ton to choose from. Even my NY&Co had some too. Just not the sizes I needed.

Lily, have fun packing! I hope you are able to reduce as much as you need to in order to get it all to fit! I bet you will have a great trip!
