Whee! We're back. Got phones? Oh Yeah. Got a Panasonic set up with ans mach. One hard wire and 5 remotes. The remotes also with intercom, and system will take up to 8 phones. Never can have enough phones.

DH surprised me too and bought me a digital camera; then he topped it off with a trip to the local family restaurant/bar I enjoy. I'm happy.

Finished some mending, washing clothes. Going to sleep soon.

Elaine, glad you had a good hockey game to watch.

Scrappers, I envy your artsy ability. I have none at all.

Deena, glad you had a good time. Hope the sun shines for your (Evan's) event next week too.

Todd, wish we could landscape here. We all have totally given up. The deer graze right up to our back doors here. What the deer don't get, the other critters do. All the neighbors quit too.

I HATE having to wait up for my DS to get home......'specially when I have to get up tomorrow for 7:30 mass!:(

LOL, Lily!!! I agree... you can never have too many phones!!! Actually right now we have more phones than jacks available :p

Kimmar, sorry you had to wait up so late!

I am signing off for the night I think... watch some TV and tehn go to sleep :)

Page 2!

Morning all!! :wave2:

Didn't get online at all yesterday. Thought I'd pop on real quick before jumping in the shower and getting the boys up and ready for church. :teeth:

Went to see The Passion last night with a group from church. EXCELLENT MOVIE!! OMG, it is the most powerful movie I have ever seen. I cried so much. I don't think there was a dry eye in the whole place. And no one said ANYTHING after the movie. It was dead silent. It really was awesome.
Afterwards, we all went to Friendly's. We took up 6 tables. :teeth:

This afternoon is the little boy I babysit's b-day party at Chuck E. Cheese. Can't wait to play some Skee-Ball. :bounce: :bounce:

Supposed to hit 58 today! WOO HOO!!

Have a good day! :wave2:

Oh yeah.......Kimmar, saw the making of Van Helsing before the movie yesterday. :) Hugh looked soooo good! :bounce:

Oh Kimmar how I know your pain. It is somewhat easier for me now that they are both over 18. I still worry but somehow it is “different.”

Did I forget to mention—we use phone jack splitters as well. Now however, we have multiple wireless phones so don’t need but a couple of the jack splitters.

Sherry, yes it is going to be like a “Beautiful Spring Day” here; I look forward to enjoying it. Have a good day.

Later YaYas...

Morning, Ya Yas!

It's a gorgeous day here, going to be warmer than yesterday. And I have the day off for a change!!!!

We are going to head out in a little while to go down to IKEA to get another bookshelf for the DVD's. I got one before christmas and calculated that it would hold 144 DVDs. I was close (143), we had leftovers to go in another unit...then it was the Christmas of box sets! There are about 30 DVD's hanging out on top of the shelves!

Someone is in phone heaven! Lily, I guess you'll never have to search the whole house for the cordless. We lost ours for 6 months once, because it was put down on the recliner right before we left for vacation. I broke down and bought a new cordless and we found the old one soon after!

Bethie, are you going to check out Wegmans? I used to visit a friend in upstate NY and we'd lunch there. They have an awesome cheese shop and great international. Maybe I can now get some saffron for a reasonable price!

Deena, hope that the weather's warm next week for the party. My boys will sit long enough for the rest of us when we got to RFC. Raft ride? The one near us doesn't have one...now I feel robbed! So, do your boys have the Power Rangers swim stuff from my store, LOL!

Sherry, Skee Ball...lots of fun. Enjoy the party!

Todd, I'm going to buy some belgian blocks on Wednesday to put around the tree in the front yard, then fill in w/soil and put a bunch of annuals in there. Gotta buy some stinky mulch, too. All the stuff I have to do to give my wonderful home 'curb appeal'. I'm looking forward to moving somewhere that doesn't have a freeze every year! I learned all this stuff by osmosis and DH used to be a landscaper. Funny thing is he doesn't do anything in our yard...think he's burnt out!

Off I go to get dressed...TTYL

Suzanne

Morning!! The sun is shining so nicely here. In the process of getting ready for church. I have toddler duty today

Lily...that's A LOT of phones!!! How do you like the remotes? A friend of ours has two of them...thinking that we might need them at some point. Really just want the intercom system they come with. Then I won't have to yell up the stairs. Re: scrapping...I have NO artistic abilities...so anyone can do this stuff..believe me! ;)

Sherry... thanks for the movie review. We'll have to see it at some point..but want the crowds to lower first. Enjoy the party today!

Elaine...what's on the agenda today?? Back to the deck? Glad to hear the hockey game went so well :)

We went to RFC twice while in Disney. I can't say that the food was wonderful...but it was okay. As for the Volcano dessert..YUM YUM YUM! Breakfast was my favorite meal while in Disney since you can't make it too gourmet. Gourmet is BLECH :teeth:

Kimmar...take a nap later today. Sorry you had to wait up for your son. You could just reduce his curfew on Saturday nights ;) ;) I'm going to be such a mean mom ::yes::

thethe that's alllll for now folks

Actually I havent got their new bathig suits for this year yet. Im sure they would like the Power Ranger ones (but mom still tries to talk them into Pooh, lol). Its hard to give up Pooh.
Kristy--I have no craftability whatsoeva--none. But I did start scapping also. I wanted to do it for our big picks--like the family pics when you enter one of the parks. But I really enjoyed it soI might try the smaller pictures also. Although I genereally take 15-20 rolls of film on vacation so I dont think I could scrap those. It would months, lol.

Good morning.
We went to see Welcome to Mooseport yesterday
DH's choice....

Housework today.....

There was a blue heron in my yard today....so beautiful!
Frogs are getting so LOUD!! Spring must be close!

Have a good day everyone......

Moving this over ;)

Okay...now is the time to PM me if you are interested in the spring basket exchange. :bounce:

I will take names until March 5th....and send out names later that day.

If you already said you were interested, please PM me again.....I want to make sure no one changed their mind ;) and there is a short survey to take with likes, etc in it. (Kristy's idea ;) ).

The price limit will be the same as the last ones have been.....around the 20 dollar mark.....basket extra.

The mail out date will be March 31st.

Hi all! Kind of quiet mood today for me... no real reason why either, just am :)

Just wanted to say have a great day everyone :wave2:

What a perfectly gorgeous day!!! Forecast is for partly cloudy, but the sun is just as bright as can be!! Aaaaaand it's all the way up to 63º already!!! To top it off, the cold is better today!!

Poohzanne, we drove over to Wegmans, turned around and came back!! Couldn't even get into the parking lot, the cars were lined up all the way back to Rt. 28!!! We'll check it out another time, thank you. Got any new stuff at TDS for us big kids?!!

Lainey, you need some of our sunshine, sure lifted my spirits!! Hope your mood lightens up for you soon.

Deena, I am now scrapping the pix from our first trip to WDW together--11 rolls of film in 2 photo albums. I am NOT going to put every single picture in the scrapbook, that's for sure!! With all the new Disney stuff out there, it is sooooo fun and easy!!

Nancy, a blue heron?! WOW!!! We get seagulls, crows and lots and lots of sparrows. Nothing very interesting at all.......Love the signs of spring, though!!

Hey, Kristy, how were the toddlers today?! Hope you didn't have too many screamers. Although it sure is a great way to quiet the biological clock if it starts ticking too loudly!! Gotta agree with you on the food at RFC--not into gourmet, here, either. Although I could sit at the bar on those crazy stools and drink Tree Frogs all afternoon ('course, then I'd fall off the stool......)!

So, Lily, do you have a phone in the bathroom, now, too??!!! Oh how that cracked us up at the Poly last month--like who in their right mind is going to chat on the phone while using the pot??!!!

Sherry, throw a few Skee-balls for me too!! That's always been my favorite arcade game! Can't say much about the food at Chuck E. Cheese, but it's sure a good way to wear the kids out!

Kimmar, glad to hear DS managed to get home before midnight! I hated waiting up, too. VERY active imagination would kick in as soon as they were more than 10 minutes late  So glad those days are over for me!!

Well, I've got some work to do--18 T-shirts to be exact!!!!

I took 423 pictures while we were in WDW. First lesson I'm learning about scrapbooking...take TONS of pictures...but plan to only scrap half or less of them. Journaling is the key to a great scrapbook.

With all the new Disney stuff out there, it is sooooo fun and easy!!
::yes:: ::yes:: I bought my Honeymoon scrapbook while we were down there. Love all the stickers and stuff. Love my CM consultant b/c she used to work for Disney and doesn't mind us bringing contraband in ;)

 No one give her tree frogs please ;) ;)

Toddlers were pretty good today. Dylan was crying when I went in..but once I sat down on the floor and held him, he was fine. Today was my first time having him in the room, so it took me a little bit to recognize why he was different from the others. He's a down syndrome child. My heart melts when I think of how cruel the world can be and how hard life is probably going to be for him..but he doesn't mind. He goes about playing just as any other child does. Really hard for me to then deal with the stubborn, bossy and hard headed little girl that is a regular in there. Clock seems to be ticking at normal speed.

:wave2: Nancy and Elaine

Awww Bethie, thanks, but really nothing is wrong today. Just dont' feel like typing or doing much. Hope all is going well with the T-shirts!

Bunny, glad your day was pretty good!!!! I think you made me realize why I could never scrap... I have *way* too many pics I take (once had 2K for a 4.5 day trip) Digitals are great things sometimes ;)
