Well, DH just called and he won't be starting work today. He goes back to tomorrow. The dr. needs to write a script for him and he isn't in until tomorrow. UGH! And the therapist is worried about his shoulder. Says he should have more movement in it by now.

It started raining...blech.

I so wish I could go to PR with my inlaws.

Awwww shucks, you guys are just so sweet . I missed ya'll too. Had a really fun weekend but, the weather was really, really lousy. My mom's two sisters were here. One lives in NY and the other is a nun in Australia, who has been in Ireland the last couple of yrs. They are both very fun and tell wonderful stories about growing up in Ireland. Our mom doesn't share stories too much . However, we let them pick the Disney park they wanted to go to and they picked Animal Kingdom. (where I just went last weekend). It was the very worst day for Disney, it was SO cold, windy and overcast I didn't even have the soft serve cone I was craving the night before . Plus I took DS and was so worried about him being out in that after just getting over bronchitis. But, he kept his jacket on and was a real trooper but, decided it was very hard to do Disney with "senior" relatives. LOL, they were just too slow for him. So, that was my weekend.

Hopefully, I will be able to get on the computer tonight and catch up more .

Busy getting house ready for Mom's visit next week. She will be here for ten days. I am sooo excited. Dad was suppose to come too but had to cancel last minute( long story ).

Liz I hope your DH gets to go on vacation with you. My Dh has had to cancel on a couple of vacations as well I know how you feel

Nancy, I do hope his time will come for an Oscar!! I must admit I've never been one for Sean Penn in general. Nothing bad, but he just never really impressed. I heard that Mystic River was about a murder and I'm usually not very good with suspense movies (so if i heard wrong, then tell me so I know to rent the movie ) so I am not sure how he did on this one

Kechup time: I fell asleep during the Oscars too. Worked too much over the weekend and just didn’t have the staying power. I enjoyed what I saw. Still must go see ROTK. I hope they keep it in the theater a bit longer now that is a winner.

I would have nevah guessed that JD was such a “mature” male.

DIS is slow for me too and my mouse button is dying on me so I will probably have to replace it... I'll probably just bring in an old mouse from home since that is an easier way to get a replacement than asking for one from work

Yep, Lily, I take tons of pictures on vacation and have taken pics of rings too Not a pro by any means, but I do have a nice camera that really seems to help a lot with what I try to do. I could probably try to take a pic of the ring for Nancy at Chicago for y'all if she will let me

Happy Birthday Roderic!! Hope its a wonderful one. Im hoping David will be home soon. When I was in Walgreens yesterday the manager was talking about having a lot of valentine plush left over and was talking to the lady in front of me about donating them to someone. Well I jsut happen to know of the perfect spot. Its called the Boys and Girls Harbor. Kids live there who cant live with their parents anymore do to abuse, neglect and that type of thing. So tonight when David gets home Im going to pick up the bags--they guy said about 9 bags, big bags!! so I can take them over there. I wish I could do more for those kids
